Lynn Swann’s First Day

New athletic director Lynn Swann met with most the coaches today during a “retreat” at the Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes. Track coach Caryl Smith-Gilbert is in Eugene, Ore., for the U.S. Olympic Track Trials. Let’s hope Swann’s first order is to do away with last year’s ridiculous Navy SEAL training “team-building” exercises. Roughing it in Palos Verdes! Andy Enfield’s expression alone makes me wonder if he thinks this is any way to make more than $2 million. Or maybe the coaches’ dropping the log can symbolize losing Pat Haden’s baggage.

      • His new AD wants to hear about him kicking the sh** out of Steve Alford and UCLA three consecutive times.

        • Once again Sammy no big deal. bozo u does that once every 10 years – BFD.

bozo u finally makes the tournament and choka, choka, chokes for its 9th ONE and DONE tournament failure.

Andyain’twinning gets a “St. Pat” atta boy head pat. Then 6 bozo players leave the program for uncertain futures. Something smells rotten as it were!.

bozo u: 11 – 20 in 17 tournament appearances, 9 of which bozo u chokes and limps home ONE and DONE losers.

UCLA hangs only NC banners: bozo u hangs “we beat UCLA” worship banners.

bozo u: the Pac – 12 BB cheap date – a bottle of ripple and a back seat will do.

          When will Hunter Echols decommit?

          • Isn’t it though.

All the UCLA coaches are holding their breath and walking on eggshells because you’ve predicted Hunter Echols is a lock to decommit.

Don’t tell us Sammy, you’ve had late night Din-Din with Mr. Echols at a very private table for 6?

  1. Needs to tighten the screws on management. The AD department needs to be more professional

  2. Swanny has already made his first mistake as A.D.
He didn’t invite The Wolfman to his “retreat”
Be smart, Swanny, those before you have blasphemed Wolf and they have paid a dear price.

  3. Whether one likes team building retreats or not–most major corporations ( thus Teams) use them as a way to engage employees and convey a sense of mission & purpose. The Seal Team Building exercise is far from ridiculous. Was it successful or helpful–only the participants can answer that question. Maybe a professional reporter can follow up.

  5. A lot of coaches with pretty bad records in that photo… .

    “Baby gap teeth” Andy 44 – 54 .449 / 13 – 36 .249 #Winning #LMAO

    #5n4Helton 0 – 3 as dummy coordinator vs CMora 1 – 3 overall .250

    #ClownU – ESPN

    • “Baby gap teeth?” What about “THE facecupper?” Or that Rosen kid’s sniffer? Back off, dude.

      • What about it.. .do we need to call the WAAAmbulance??

        #Babygapteeth

          • 13 – 36 .249 and your team captain just left “baby gap teeth” Andy… but Swanny has it all figured out, just pick up a log lol… .

            #WAAAmbulance

          • Why bring it up, if it didn’t bother you.

This is Andyain’twinning/recruiting swan song loser year.

          • I didn’t bring it up, you moron. Your butt-buddy Safer did. I was merely defending us Trojans smoking your S this year. Drink up, it’s Friday. Oh, wait…

          • The little gutties were just putty in USC’s hands this year. They just rolled over with their legs sticking up like dead cockroaches that fell in a puddle of booze.

          • “…you moron.” There’s no doubt you’re a bozo u grad. Zero wit, no point or intellect, but a ton of confused, adolescent animosity

You’re the perfect example of white bread buttered at bozo u.

  6. I was surprised that ESPN didn’t have a huge story on their website about Lynn Swann’s first day. Maybe ESPN is toning down their obsession with USC.

    • Hmm not sure but you sure seem ‘obsessed’…yes you do goofy (sniker) you really really do….

      • I just finished watching the oj doc on YouTube. Did you see it?

        • Too depressing to watch when I realized how much America and all USC fans used to love the guy and it turned out he was a monster who fooled us and divided the nation to save his miserable skin.

          • The last couple of years I kind of saw de ja vu, with Bill Cosby. We really didn’t know him either.

  7. Fight on, Lynn!
Sadly, there is no event or anything that involves SC that Wolf won’t mock, belittle and, in turn, expose the petty bitterness that apparently consumes him.
It’s too bad. He’s actually a very talented reporter/columnist. Perhaps a change of scenery/beat is needed.

  8. SW, has it out for anyone that is happy, or seems happy. It tells you a lot about his unhappiness.

    • Like Pat Haden? He was very happy ripping off a charity and organizing a boycott of Indiana because of his own family situation. Sark was very happy with his bottle. Better not make them sad by bringing that up. We better get rid of people who make happy people like Pat and Sark sad.

      • Very nice, marv (don’t be surprised if your cleverness isn’t much appreciated, though)…..

      • Is it a good sign when Scott calls out Kiff —then Sark—-for not having the goods…..and, then, when he turns out to be right, some folks decide to never forgive SCOTT(!?) for as long as they live?
        #MisplacedAnger?

  9. Wow Scott, What is your problem? Makin a livin with just writing your little blogs dissing USC Athletic like your some big time journalist lol… Jealous much? Go cover little league baseball, because you are out of your league!
#FightOn and in your case #FightOff

    • Smells like Snarling Sally Snarls resuscitated her Scott Wolf spit ball campaign.

      #SSSwantsmorebozoRah-Rahfluff

      • Are you trying to say anything… something here? So cleaver…Don’t quit your day job LOL (if you have one)

  10. I’d guess “dropping the log” has something to do with a yogurt commercial. Was Erin Andrews the guest speaker?
