USC Olympic Count

USC currently has 24 athletes qualified for the Rio Olympics. The list will get longer and could include track sensation Michael Norman of Vista Murrieta, who could qualify in the 200 meters. For USC, it might be better if he qualifies but doesn’t do too well in the Olympics or Nike will try to get him to turn pro.

  1. SW, flat out disrespectful.. This and any Olympic , Paralympics athletes dream. To compete and do well .SW, bitter, little ,shameful Man. Tomorrow Randell Cunningham jumps for a spot in final Sunday. His HS sister already on the team…..Michael Norman, best of luck.

    • Adoree Jackson, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Toa Lobendahn are 3 of 17 college players that are counselors at the Opening this week. 3 Trojans. That should only help with recruits.

        • Not against Stanford I’m the Pac 12 Championship game, he was throwing a big tantrum. No, but seriously I think it will only help for kids to be around Adoree and Juju this week. They’re both in all the preseason magazines right now and fresh in the minds of the recruits.

            Juju is very outspoken and I think is a great player to teach
            and recruit.Can’t remember the recruit ,but a 4/5 ** from
            Florida mentioned that Juju was among his favorite College
            players.I also think this kid wasn’t a WR. Adoree ,being a two
            way star appeals to so many . Toa is great for those big guys.
            We’re getting close to season. I’m a big Olympics fan,so that will
            carry me to kickoff.

          • My mistake Pete. But those three can being present can only help. That CB Marko Wilson (I think that’s his name) is really serious now about SC. Looks like SC are close to being his favorite after the Florida Gators.

          • Really? What did he say or do? Did he throw his helmet? Glad to hear someone was passionate about that disappointing loss.

          • Are you serious? He was crying like baby on the sidelines when the game was still close. I don’t know how you do things Marv, but you don’t show up your teammates, especially in the conference title game.

  2. How can bozo u claim credit for an Olympic Athlete’s recruits success, when said athlete hasn’t attended one bozo u class for at least one (quarter/semester)?

    • Point well taken, official tally should only include those that have already at least taken a class.

  3. What a shame SC has such a terrible coaching staff, they can’t recruit and coach up talented athletes.
