This is worth repeating even though it might not actually take shape until 2019. But the Coliseum peristyle is going to be free of video boards once the renovation is complete. Two new video boards will be constructed. You can see one in this rendering, between the new pressbox and the peristyle. Another benefit should be the removal of those tent suites that currently block the view of the peristyle on game days.

Maybe I’m missing something here but when I look at the Coliseum renovation drawings it looks like a whole lot of the seats on one side of the coliseum are going to be under a whole lot of glass. Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t that going to cut down on the crowd noise and is that what we want in our home games…..a quiet crowd? Help me out here!
