A happy Adoree Jackson is at Pac-12 media day and said this is his vacation day as he tries to take a break between the end of track season and start of football next month.

  1. Great article in today’s Times about Clay Helton – guy came from some tough wood – his old man – Ken. A really good insightful read on USC’s new hc – let’s hope truly in Clay Helton’s case. the past is truly prelude.

    • I agree. His father had a humble beginning 10 brothers and sisters (wow). Or was it 12? Clay and Tyson had a really good father the way they were brought up, no special treatment. I like Clay even more after reading that article.

      • The question is why has it taken it so long for him to get to this place? Bluntly this man has been in the character kiln that only those who know ‘Him’ get put into.

        • That’s a great question. I wish we could say he was the best man for the job. But all we can do is be glad that we are starting fresh and have his back by giving him his shot. We all know he has great family morals and seems to be a really nice individual. Lord knows this (USC) may be his only shot and has a lot to handle being at USC, but i think he made two huge positive moves adding Pendergast and Callaway. He has the pieces around him to win, will he? We will know plenty about him by the end of September.

          • If we’re 2 – 2 – that’s would be what many expect ‘but’ if it is 3 – 1 (matters not who the loss is) that’s a whole ‘nother kettle of fish.

            I like Nick Sabin and I also see a man who is very worried.

          • I think Sabin is definitely aware of our talent. This is just my opinion, but I don’t think we should have two losses with all the talent we have on the roster. But I still think the season will be very much alive with a 2-2 first month.

  2. Nice picture. I’m glad he jumped at his chance to try out for the Olympics. I also hear after O.J. gets out he’ll take a stab at marriage.

    • Well you’re right….hey Wooden’s kiddies are auctioning off a ‘percent’ of the mojo they get from gramppy’s back end….gotta gets me sum peckerhead yeah!
