  1. Man that;s a lot of pressure for bel-air tech – better win that game @ TX A&M on the 3rd r it’s ‘….in the gloaming’ for them.

    • this is a SOUTHERN CAL blog!! stick to the topic!

aren’t you embarrassed to expose how obsessed you are with UCLA?? it’s okay, i’m embarrassed for you!

i come here to read the best journalist in the business and i NEVER bring in politics, make personal attacks, or stray off topic!

    • As you know, we should be rooting for Ucla to win that game and they should be rooting for us to beat Bama. Can I get an 8 clap Trojan fans? Or How about throwing up those two fingers (2 not 1) bruin fans?! …hello…class…anyone…

      • Sir, with all due respect, there is no reason to cheer for the ruins. U have Broke Back Mountain the sequel, you have pa kettle bell, u have the uber driver thief, Johnny Cheetin’ wooden, and other creatins that I will not support. Have fun cheering for the ruins and I will have fun cheering for the Trojans. May the ruins lose 2 to 0. May USC win 54 to 0.

        • I understand that it’s zero sum for you, but what has Ucla ever done to us? They just talk a lot and maybe divert us from our larger goals once every 20 years and that’s it. If they didn’t constantly run their yaps they would be a non-factor in our world as they are non-factors in the college football world.

I think if USC fans could take a step back and look at the series, there’s no real reason to hate Ucla. This is why I’m able to be somewhat charitable with them. I’m so not threatened by Ucla that I rooted for them when they played Notre Dame (A program deserving of enmity) and Miami. I also hope they beat Texas A&M.

  2. Unless it’s USC, the Pac 12 champ will probably be passed over for the CFP again. But hey, we’re still the Conference of Champions, right?

      • You can’t really blame them for discounting the Pac 12 champ either.

Ore is Gimmick U and you won’t win national championships with gimmicks and flashy uniforms.

        • Excuse me? ORE OWNS USC the last decade. Awesome unis = elite recruits = DUCKS OWN USC!!

          • Nothing you just wrote or your team’s results on the field refutes anything I wrote.

This is the best period in Oregon’s history and one of the worst in USC’s history. Congratulations, you’ve won nothing.

Wow…is this a Pac 12 blog or a USC blog??

          • I’ll tell you what we’ve won: games. We win games. Especially when we play USC. How’s that for refuting your statements.

And the ironical thing about all this? I come to this blog to defend your team against UCLA (who can’t beat us either, btw) and I get treated like this.

So we haven’t won a national championship, but neither have you in the BCS era if you erase your vacated wins. Ha!

          • I won’t even bother to check our W/L record against you guys, but I think you probably should. “Especially when we play USC”??? Were you born 10 years ago? Check the record, duck and quit your quacking.

Look, I have no desire to attack you or your program. I enjoy watching the ducks and I wish you guys well when you play big OOC games. Unfortunately you guys always let me, the conference, your ENTIRE state and yourselves down. I don’t really want to hurt you because I know you’re hurting already. You know that you are terribly disappointed with the fact that you’ve swung and missed several times on the big stage. Forget about me, don’t lie to yourself for god sakes. All the winning…all the outfits…all the sizzle and no steak. Just duck, WTF? Our bellies are full, but we’re hungry.

While we’ve been away you’ve had ample time to try on the Emperor’s robes and clearly they’re too big for you.

In parting, thank you very much for rushing to our defense against the bruin trolls. I’ll be sure to stop by the Ducks’ blog and beat some angry Beavers off of you some day. I know it’ll be hard, but you should just walk away from this. Just walk away.

          • Awesome unis, but no tradition. No National Titles, but lots of uniforms. That sure worked for Vavae Malepeai. He threw that Oregon rag you call a uniform away the last weekend of recruiting and signed with USC. Oregon’s in for a rude awakening this season.

    • You should try to drop your silly but long-standing obsession with me Shirley.

I’ll never be interested in you loser little gutties who can’t stand that USC owns L.A. You’ll always be second fiddle here so like your very own Slick Rick says, better join the Big 12 soon if you want to win anything in football. It might also help you detach from my arm pit. Not healthy for you Shirley!

      • Glad to hear you’re not interested…..

        HAWR-HAWR!!!

Now, don’t you go hitting the chicken switch you sweet trranny bich, you!!

        #TooEasy

        • You know I’ll always have a spot for you in my armpit Shirley! Would you like me to change my deodorant or just drop it altogether?

I know I’m a celebrity to you Trolls, but I’ll always try to make sure you never feel left out.

Good luck in the Big 12. I’ll surely tune in watch OU beat your brains in at the Rose Bowl.

          Good times!

  3. Oh… I just learned that a banana which turns brown before your eyes is one of the four foods I should never eat. That and nobody cares about playoff odds before fall camp
