Adoree Jackson’s dropped some hints on twitter this week that he might switch from No. 2 to No. 21. One reason was because Jackson wore No. 21 during some photo shoots on campus. So I asked a USC coach about that part and here’s what he said: Jackson’s No. 2 jersey was sent to the Pac-12 for its media day activities last week and had not been returned yet. So when USC did its photo/video shoots, Jackson wore 21, which can be photoshopped to No. 2 later.

Is it just me, or does Adoree Jackson make news on every topic other than being a productive college football player? The kid has yet lived up to his high school reputation, but is constantly talked about. …lol
Agreed 100%. This is a put up or shut up year for him and Banner.
Fred, it’s just the nature of high-profile recruits coming out of high school these days. Plus the Blogger gives more press to Adoree Jackson than any other player on the team.
I blame it on the Kardashians.
I’ve never been able to understand even the slightest reason for any remote interest in the Kardashians. Bizarre fascination by some, many of whom I presume must be little gutty Trolls.
I can’t stand that family, but Kim’s worth the channel surfing stop.
It’s all fake – what is she going to look like in 20 years?
She had facial botox or cosmetic surgery and she’s starting to look like the mother. Damn shame.
I don’t understand it either. And what adds to the mystery is how they make tens-of-millions off fools watching that krap. What ever happened to making a living by providing value to the community.
You mean like the mystery of SoCal football making tens of millions from fools watching?
It’s the same principle, so many love melodrama.
It is nice to hear Sua Cravens cry about not being recognized as the greatest Trojan ever, it sends a clear message that winning games as a team is more important than individual performances
I have thought the same thing for the last couple years. All the ability in the world, but his fundamentals are lacking. The NFL will expose him if this upcoming season doesn’t. I would hope the new DC has explained his shortcomings to him already.
That’s because they are playin him at the wrong position. He is an awesome return man/receiver in the mold of raghib Ismail, and Desmond Howard. But as a corner he is mediocre at best! He just doesn’t have that toughness to play defense.
With the Olympics in the rearview mirror, “hopefully” AJ will be focused and ready to show the doubters he is who he and the media portrayed him to be.. AJ has “flashed” some skills, but he needs to put it on the field and not worry about jersey numbers.. Right now, he in my mind is a 5/6th rounder..Can he play better, sure, will AJ be a 1st rounder, highly doubtful.
“21” can’t be Photoshopped to “2” later as the number would not be centered on the jersey.
Hi Helen- it can be done fairly easily these days with some of the tools in photoshop. Not sure why wolf brought it up if it was explained to him that is what the marketing dept was going to do.
I understand that, but the Blogger believes you just remove the “1” from “21” and you have a “2” – it don’t work that way.
And if the Blogger did some homework (yeah that!) then he would find out “21” was selected for a reason and it wasn’t so someone could Photoshop it into a “2.” Adoree wants to switch number for a reason.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but AJAX still hasn’t participated in PRO’S right? He needs to FOCUS on FOOTBALL.
What we read up there, if true, is a program that truly has turned course from ‘kids run this team’ to ‘play tough or look over your shoulder’!
Don’t know who that purported coach is but if true – good!
What’s the 618 on his blackout?
Is that his SAT total or something to help him remember where his locker is?
