USC Morning Buzz: Keep An On That BYU Series

USC’s scheduled three games with BYU beginning in 2019. But what happens if the Big 12 expands to 14 teams and includes BYU? The USC-BYU games will be early in the season but you never know how schedules can be affected.

  1. keep’n On? Must be a slow news day. Imagine being in a profession where NO ONE returns your phone calls.

    Feel in the blank..

  3. You people don’t get the Wolfman’s cutting-edge urban slang.

Wolfman learnt his bloggin’ on the streets!

  4. Except the big 12 shouldn’t be expanding to 14 teams to include BYU.

Here it is: 8 (not 4) 16 team super conferences, 3 in the western half of the U.S and 5 in the eastern half. That encompasses 128 of the FBS schools in a conference that they all have an opportunity to win. Everyone gets one out of conference game a year unless you’re an independent.

Expand the playoffs to 8 teams and slot in the winners of the 6 (or 7) highest ranked super conferences. With the remaining 2 (or 1) slot you can decide to take a highly ranked independent(s). Seed all 8 teams and then play the whole thing off.

There needs to be more uniformity in college football and a more even playing field. Right now it’s just a convoluted money grab with no real central decision making and no outlined plan.

  5. Well the only reason BYU would drop the scheduled games with USC is if some coward like Sleeve is their commissioner.

It’s money in the bank for BYU and a great way to being any football season.
