  1. No big deal if they put a competitive product on the field, and btw, espn’s Brock Huard feels USC settled on Clay Helton, as apposed to finding the best coach available. Time will tell, but eyes will be on Helton, without a doubt.

    • USC obviously settled. How could anyone doubt this? USC also completely settled for McKay, Robinson and Carroll. They went after Smith and Hackett. They settled on Tollner and Sark too, though Haden pretended he went after Sark.

Moral of the story is, nobody knows nothin’. There were only two sure bets to fix SC: Saban and Meyer. Neither would have come under any circumstances because neither is crazy.

In hindsight, I would have liked Del Rio. But that’s only because of what he’s doing at Oakland, not before. I would have liked Petersen too. We’ll see how the Huskies look now that he’s cleaned up much of Sark’s mess and appears to be poised for the something good.

But as I said, it’s like Hollywood. Nobody knows nothin’. Neuheisel just proved that for the 100th time this week and I like the guy – as long as he’s not repping USC.

  2. Uncle Wolfman, what’s the story on the CLS 550 Adoree is driving around, I mean we know his folks don’t have that type of cheese, let’s keep it real.. .
