No More Teen Choice Awards

The Galen Center used to annually host the Teen Choice Awards, which resulted in street closures and other inconveniences. But for the second straight year, tonight’s show is being held at the Forum. Good for USC employees. Not-so-good for USC athletics, which always rented out the arena to the show for a couple weeks.

Maybe next year’s Sharknado movie can take place at the Galen Center instead.

  1. Oh man, I used to watch the teen choice awards! I loved Nickelodeon when I was a kid.

    • Gollom-Wolf is still a kid at heart. Tell us about your weekend at the nerd convention in Columbus and losing the Chewbacca costume contest for the 280th straight time.

  2. Oh yeah? 1 year from now they’ll be back – Prairie and Pincay ain’t no place to be after dark.

    • Jim would have been impressed how the Teen Choice Awards was turned into a left wing propaganda night, honoring The Gentle Giant. Such a great role model for the teens.

  3. One thing is for certain, the Teen Choice Awards will not be held at UCLA as long as Tom Bradley is coaching there.
