The offensive line has one position batle on the offensive line as sophomore Chris Brown is currently ahead of previous starter Damien Mama at left guard. Can Brown hold the spot or is this a way to light a fire under Mama?
Brown started two games last season and the plus for him is that he can pull quicker than Mama. That was a problem at times last season during games and possibly affected play calling. There’s probably going to be rotating no matter who starts but if Brown holds Mama, that’s an accomplishment because Mama’s been a two-year starter.
I’m not sure about this new format for the comments section, but it looks like LAPD Retired was serious about booting Just Owned. I didn’t want to be gullible and believe it, but I know they keep a lot of retired cops busy with special projects of they still want to serve. Unless I’m mistaken, there’s been no sight of him. To quote Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday in Tombstone, “The poor soul, he was just too high strung.”
If Just Squats is really gone then the quality of this board shoots up 100% automatically. One can only hope that was just the first step in Troll defoliation.
That poor soul seriously needs to get out of the cellar and see someone who is a female.

it was T-Fail, aka “55” who curiously has been absent since. the “tired LAPD” comments were deleted last night, then reappeared today. but i suspect the ID was deleted by wolfman. also the “Brian Martin” saying the blog was closing down friday was a hoax by the same guey.

As for my original non offensive post, all I said was it is better players who can start, than one who shouldn’t.
Nice to see competition at more than a few positions. It will be nice to have depth and even better to,have it developed.
They actually looked good in practice.. More organized and fluid.
