Morning Buzz: Porter Gustin Needs Big Season For USC Success

GUSTIN

Here is my column on why USC needs players like Porter Gustin in order to actually restore the program’s reputation. Too often in recent years, players arrive with hype and then do not deliever. Gustin wants to meet expectations and be more than an Internet All-American.

“You want to live up to what everybody says about you,” Gustin said. “There’s always something to prove. I don’t want to just be another player. I want to strive for greatness.”

  1. Porter Gustin, Osa Masina, Cam Smith, Rasheem Greene, Noah Jefferson, Iman Marshall. All those big time defensive recruits from that 2015 class are now ready to step in and make an impact on the defense. They all got good playing time last year as true freshman and now they seem ready for much bigger roles. The tipping point will be that they will have better coaches around them. BKU, Ronnie Bradford and Clancy Pendergast are all more in your face, no nonsense coaches who actually teach and that’s gonna pay off with these players.

  2. It’s nice the we have Porter and the Little Bridesmaids have Mique Juarez… Oh yeah.. Oops… My bad.

    • Mique wants out of btech! It’s all over BRO! The chimp has given Mique an “excused” absence! We all know what that really is!
      Bring it on trolls!
      Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee-Hee!!!

      • Judging Mora’s facial expressions today while answering questions about Juarez he doesn’t seem to confident in the situation.

    • Somebody put Owns on suicide watch. Make sure Charlie and Ted get over to his studio apartment in Garden Grove.

  3. Porter Gustin looks and plays the part. 6’4″, 250lbs, hits like a Mack Truck and covers space. He is good. Not an ounce of fat on him

  4. The Blogger is taking a page from Donald Trump’s playbook and calling people names like “Internet All-American”
