An Interesting Commitment

USC received a commitment from defensive end James Lynch a couple days ago. He doesn’t have a ranking from Rivals, which is no crime because I always feel a better indicator is what other schools offered him a scholarship.

Lynch was offered by Tulsa, Texas Tech, Texas State, TCU, Stephen F. Austin, Nevada, Kansas, Duke, Colorado State and Colorado. It’s going to interesting to keep track of some of these recruits’ careers to see if they really develop like the USC coaches believe.

    • Don’t even talk. Did you see the QB that UCLA got the other day? Talk about not having much to choose from.

      • Someone needs to read their recruiting report, LA Times has 3 – 2*s in the 2017 recruiting class for Ucla.

        • After we slap them around again they’ll finish with the best 2 star class in the country.

        • On the contrary my little Chucky. He’s a 3star probably gonna be a 4star next week by ESPN because they loved him at the Opening. Don’t put him anywhere near UGLAH QB commit Austin Burton. Poor dude is a 2star and might end up being a -2star now as a bRuin.

          I mean a 2star qb???????

    • I gather he was stuffing his mug on a frozen burrito and forgot to proof read, the kid is listed as a borderline 4 star on several scouting sites.. TCU has a good program, he could be a nice get!

  1. He’s very underrated that’s for sure. He was invited to the Opening in Oregon so he has a lot of potential and faired well up there. SC commit Hunter Echols was impressed with him and was there recruiting him to SC. That’s gotta break the little bRUINS hearts!

    #BruinJockstrapBURRNNNN!!!!

    • He missed his sophomore and half his junior year. He went to the Dallas opening and won Defensive MVP.I’m guessing the DT will move from 3 to 4 star quickly this Fall.We know there will be other offers coming. We flipped him from TCU, which has been pretty darn good on D line.

      • That explains a lot about the slow momentum of offers, but USC and Alabama sure pi**ed TCU off. They had a satellite camp with USC and Alabama and the two schools each took a commitment away from the Horned Frogs. TCU says they won’t do anymore satellite camps anymore or at least with other programs. I like this kids size. I like him Echols and Lichtenstein in the class. I hear SC wants to take 5-6 DLineman so we aren’t done.

    • I heard where they have Mique in hiding. He’s at the new UCLA hotel that just opened on campus.

      • Mora must have him tied up or handcuffed to the bed. He probably lost 20 lbs already.

        • Just think, our taxpayer dollars paid for a huge hotel on their campus. How exactly does that have anything do with education?

          • I can’t believe it. Then they have the nerve to tell us they need more funding! Google this:The UCLA Meyer and Renee Luskin Conference Center features 254 welcoming guest rooms, and Plateia — our on-site restaurant and lounge featuring Mediterranean-inspired, California-fresh cuisine. Come for the big game, world-class performances or alumni events — whatever brings you back to campus.

          • Right Goux, you penny ante twit. UCLA invests wisely and collects Profits.

bozo u pays steep $$$$ premium to employ a alky, FB coach, “St Pat” pays the same FB a huge salary for D+ results, and then foolishly fires the FB coach. bozo u is now the defendant in a wrongful termination lawsuit with the fired FB coach that bozo u paid a premium for.

            Pop goes the weasel.

          • It’s a safe place where our players can go to avoid micro-aggressions.
P.S. St. Pat checked in to the basement there two months ago.

          • Simple Sammy, when UCLA sponsors on campus academic or professional symposiums, attendees can stay at the campus Hotel and provide UCLA with an excellent revenue stream.

Those profits will reduce Mighty Goux’s infinitesimal tax burden to a sub atomic.

          • Squatter, my question is: how many times a year can ugly hold the pizza delivery conference and have new material for the conference? You would think about once a year would be enough but 12 times a year is overkill.

          • I need proof you have enough income sufficient to file a 1040 shorty.

One other small item Goux, UCLA win or lose won’t need to cut a $3million check to UCLA’s former Off. Coordinator.

    • Yes he is very underrated but Helton has x ray goggles that he bought at the Stephen Austin Student Store and was able to see the light.

  2. At this stage of the game, having seen so many lazy 5-stars flame out, I’d rather take a chance on a hard working “sleeper. Especially one that’s 6’5” 282 lbs !!!

    • He is still growing, lots of upside, The jacks chirp, but hey many WO’s from USC have done well and are in the nfl.. #claymatthews..Give him a chance! 0 *s 1-5 this kid looks good!

  3. Please stop Owns is one more UCLA fail from going back to the bottle. Then he loses his job at Walmart and ends up back in Charlie’s basement.

  4. If you don’t roll the dice on players with potential, then you won’t field a productive football team. 4 and 5 star players turnout to be busts all the time, so what’s the difference with non ranked player?
