  2. The USC football program could turn that all-time record around if the administration would change their philosophy of being “cheap” in hiring a top head football coach. When you have an AD who is so vain about his own pocket more, the result will tell the tale. It is what it is! Alabama didn’t go cheap and look where they are year after year. The Bama AD has his priorities right. With all the talent the USC program has brought in year after year, you wonder what is wrong. You look to the man running the football program, the man who hired him and you find out really quick if the college president cares about the program enough.

    • Pat Haden had to go cheap to make sure there was enough money for all his relatives and cronies.
