  1. I never thought I’d ever say this…Kiffin was all class unlike southern cal brass who fired him on the airport tarmac!

    • That was a decision made by an idiot buffoon, Athletic Director, because he was a bigger clown then Lane Kiffen

  2. If it indeed was Saban’s personal decision to hire Kiffin as OC of Alabama, I must say he’s been blessed with some divine level foresight. Did he foresee what was to happen tonight, too? Then we should elevate his stature to something of deity. Hey, he has to to be considering he’s keeping Kiffin who was the HC at USC as his subordinate. Btw, what does that make USC? It’s where ordinary to incompetent assistants get exposures, chances and training to move on to other programs to be real deals, huh?

  3. Oh brother. SC is terrible. We are not a south champ caliber team. I think the whole team is mired in hooliganism. This embarrassment will hurt recruiting for years. 56 to 6 PFF!!

  4. Helton is a good man, a very nice man but he’s a much better fit in the Mountain West or Conference USA. He stated he’d been planning last night’s game since last December.

He had no plan other than what imploded on national television. The USC haters are gleeful as well as knowing we’re stuck with this at least through 2017.

Clay Helton is a decent ma but he is NOT a top tier college football coach and that was evident by his lack of a running game last night from the get go – he had no alternative. AL did and AL made the changes in the 2nd quarter – a solid and historic beat down of USC.

This is our reality at least through 2017.

    • As I stated prior, Lynn Swann witnessed the loss and the coaching! You can speculate! Swann knows what Herman can do!

  5. Let’s not glorify Lane Kiffen, because he was plugged into a team that has been dominating for years before his arrival . The man has not proven anything other than, riding the coattails of Nick Saban. And that’s one of the main reasons why Athletic Director’s around the country can’t get it right when hiring football coaches, because they never look at the big picture. How many offensive coordinators in college football would be successful behind Alabama’s talent? Lots of them would, and you better believe that. Let Kiffen go turn around a down program before anybody starts to slobber over him, because he has proven twice, that he couldn’t run to major programs, because of his arrogance, and low character.

    • Nah. Credit him. He is a hell of a coach. He loves the college game. He connects with the players. Like Sark, he may be less than ideal in terms of all around personal character, though not to the same degree or with the same issues. But Kiffin is a good ball coach. Long term, he would have been a keeper for us.
