  1. I wonder if it was as special as Pete leaving SoCal out of the same tunnel after racking up the NCAA penalties and leaving his the university and it’s fans holding the bag of sanctions while he cashes in a huge payday.
    “There’s nothing like it”

    • Poor metamucus. You still sad Pete went out and fully gutted ucla 8-1? You little gutties were so pitiful then. It was just like when USC drilled you and your happy feet QB 40-21 last Nov. I thought Pete must have been back on the field for USC – just like old times.

I wonder if Chimp Boy will ever get the chance to move on back to the NFL? Do they want a guy who can’t even win the Pac and got drilled by journeyman Gomer Helton? Poor ucla. Pete treated you like dirt. Get over it.

      • It was not a good run for us. Not as bad as when we beat you bozos 8 straight but it wasn’t a great run.
That 8 straight is what prompted Garrett to eliminate all oversight during the Carroll reign of non-compliance because he was so tired of getting spanked by UCLA every year. Cheating worked for a while until the NCAA got tired of it and SoCal’s famous arrogance then slapped you with near death sentence sanctions. Then Mora went 3-0 on you with more coming this year. Your D line will be mostly song girls by November and I look forward to the start of our next run on Clown College.
Have fun on The Farm this weekend.

  2. Bush-whacked is what happened to SC football after Pete left in 2009, which I don’t believe he knew about. How does one keep tabs on 100 or so footballers?
Anyway, Carroll has to be so proud what he brought to the Trojans in his 9-years there. After his first year in 2001 every year SC was in the hunt for a national title, and if the 4-team playoff had been in effect, he probably would have been in it in 2002 (2003, 2004 and 2005 he won two and almost won a third), and 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

  3. SW, thanks for sharing and bringing back great memories. Needless to say, Carroll is one of my favorite SC coaches for bringing back Trojan football to all its glory. Lott is one of the greatest Trojans as evidenced by the trophy named after him. He, without a doubt, is on my Trojan all-time team.
PS> for any trolls, please don’t get into NCAA sanctions – they were/are a farce and anyone with half a brain knows this.

    • I only have 1/4 of a brain but that’s enough to know Carroll was the biggest scofflaw this side of Miami. He ran like a fairy princess when things got hot and left you bozos
holding the bag yet you still worship him and his reign of non-compliance.

      • No Mas.
As George Carlin was quoted as saying ” ‘Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.’

  4. Some say Pete left USC because of the sanctions, and they are right. He was on record as saying he felt the NCAA was running a witch hunt. He complained about process throughout. The Seahawks took advantage of the situation.
In the coliseum it will be old home week the Rams playing the part of a hapless Mt. West team.

    • The Rams really do stink. I can’t believe Trojan fans think Fisher, a complete journeyman NFL coach over many years (that’s right) would be right for USC. Does he “get SC?” Not sure. After all these years, I’m not sure he even gets the NFL. He certainly doesn’t on offense. The Rams don’t even have an offense. Steve Young was so frustrated trying to call the Rams/49ers game that he could barely contain himself.
