Pick The Score

Who likes USC in an upset? Who is going to contain Christian McCaffrey? Does USC’s season hinge on the outcome?

  1. Win or lose, this game isn’t going make, or break USC’S season, but it will give people a better idea of what’s going on.

    • If CH plays Darnold over Browne, It would give us a better chance to win. I think Browne will slip to #2 qb after saturdays game. But you are on it, as usual!

    • I think this actually might be the fork in the road.
1.) We win and prove that we may be on the right path by beating the best team in the conference, which could get the ball rolling for a good season.
2.) We get beat, losing to the Cardinal for the third straight time since last September, and then comes…….the “pressure” for Clay Helton to win a tough conference road game Friday night at Utah lost.

Helton needs a win for his football team and for some self confidence in himself and his coaches.

      • We forked up all right. The good news is the conference sucks besides Stanford and maybe UW. The rest of the games are winnable but no chance for the national playoff now.

  2. Fred is on the money. I’ll add that it is important that we play well and show up. Really it’s about winning one of the next two. But I’m calling for the upset. I think USC will be disciplined and wins 27- 24.

  3. I feel confident that within the 95% confidence
Interval the total score will be below 100 and somebody will win

  4. 31-24 Stanfurd. Hope I’m wrong and the Trojans pull it out. Please don’t blown out SC, that would make the rest of the season very iffy.

  5. SC loses, does the score matter ?

I will add that if Darnold plays, SC has a better chance.

  6. I like USC. I don’t know why. I just have a good feeling about this game. I’m saying 14-7 USC. It’s just a gut feeling. I could be wrong.

    • Im feeling Stanford overrated and USC Alabama experience showed USC flaws early to correct.

      • I guess my only rationale for picking SC is that 2 weeks ago USC goes out there and does all there gyrating in the tunnel and then all the trash talking and then they proceed to get their butts kicked on national TV. Tomorrow we will be on national TV again(ABC) and the game will be at 8:00PM EST so even back east many people will be watching. I would think that most of those players want to redeem themselves. One USC beat writer picked Stanford to win 38-13. If that happens, then I would say that we have big problems because these kids have no pride.

        • I was really disappointed. I thought we’d bounce back and get redemption on national television. Instead the team sleepwalked.

          • They did look confused out there and the offense has no rythm. If you just look at the stats, they gained 353 yards in just 61 plays. That’s almost 6 yards a play. Sounds good. But when they needed a play, they couldn’t come up with it. They were only 4-13 in 3rd and 4th down conversions. Like Dan Weber said……””Their offense was like a doctor that performs an operation and afterwards says “I was really happy with the way that operation went….I really think that we did a great job…..unfortunately, the patient died but the operation did go well””. This is going to be a long season.

  7. It’s all depends on the offense – the defense will take care of itself. McCafferty was sacked repeatedly by KS St. ‘behind the line of scrimmage’ repeatedly. Prendergast is better than Wilcox – contain McCafferty ‘but’ Browne looked ‘average’ against UT St. and a rank amateur against AL.

    USC offense is the mystery

  8. Not quite as suspect as bozo u’s defense. UCLA’s defense has yet to allow 52 points.

In fact, bozo u’s defense is the same that allowed Stanford’s McCaffery to gain 461 all purpose yard in just one game.

bozo u FB, what a joke.

  9. I still remember last year’s game at the Coliseum and Stanford hurt us with some very good play at TE. Stanford keeps showing USC up close and personal on how to use the TE in college football. In that particular game Chris Hawkins missed a key tackle, and he was getting beat in coverage by the Stanford TE’S, I mean he’s was actually to slow to run with them, all I know is he’s been the main Trojan defender in the film room who has been getting outplayed in these Stanford games. Hawkins has to make the those 1on1 tackles, I can’t stress how many times i remember seeing him “dive for a tackle”, but missed and we give up the extra few yards because we can’t defend on first contact. Pac12 Championship game was just an embarrassing performance overall. The Stanford O-Line blocked and McCaffrey did a great job of letting the plays develop before he even

  10. USC finds out they can throw a pass to the tight end and win by 7. Defense plays great and coaches actually have a game plan.

  11. I predict USC will lose
McCaffery will score at least 3 touchdowns with over 200 yards

However, USC will have more players ejected from the game
