USC has hired Professor Beauregard Tirebiter as a full-time facility dog, which is similar to a therapy dog. Tirebiter, who is a black goldendoodle, works with groups of people/students out of the Student Health Center. He even has a twitter account. Can he coach football too?
The professor’s name is an homage to George Tirebiter, who I wrote about here.

There’s a film project being shopped in Hollywood that illustrates the story of GT to the transition to Traveler in 1961.
So they’ve gone ‘multi-racial’ on the new 2016 version of George Leroy Tirebiter? Hmmm I’d say kickin’ in the ‘festive’ angle will please Haden and get Geffen to chip in. …. maybe the ending will be ‘Traveler’ kicking ‘Georgie’ across Childs Way?

I saw Black Goldendoodle open for Tool at the Grand Olympic back in the 90s.
Loved their early work but they sold out.
Take that back. Seriously. You can say what you want about USC, but how did TOOL sell out?????

TOOL is fu**ing awesome. Maynard rules! My top 3-4 bands all time. I’ve never seen them live, but I’ve seen A Perfect Circle twice. I missed all my chances to see them. I WILL THEM LIVE BEFORE I AM GONE!
I was actually telling the truth about seeing Tool at the Grand Olympic Auditorium (goldendoodle jokes aside). I think it was spring of 1995. They must have still been touring to support Undertow. They had the creepiest videos back in the day.
