USC Security Procedures

After the long lines and complaints at the Utah State game, USC has produced a video explaining the Coliseum security procedures.

  1. The security procedures are like going into a courthouse. Drop all your belongings in the trey. It’s annoying and ridiculous. People are carrying around these stupid clear bags. Backpacks are no longer allowed and the security guards have a tough guy attitude. It almost pushed me to the limit to take more than one Marcus Allen bobble head since USC wasn’t keeping track of got one. They were giving them to people who acted like they didn’t have one yet.

  2. Security provisions are only necessary when there is a large attendance at an event. We’re going to be lucky to cross 60,000 in attendance for this game.

    • Not sure what they’re looking for, but a bomb detonated in a large, crowded venue is devastating…whether 5,000 or 100,000 people in attendance.

        • Reactionary. This is what’s actually worked:

  3. These security procedures were a joke. We had the clear bags and emptied our pockets, but the crowd grew restless and the procedures stopped. They gave up. I passed through the detector and set it off they didn’t blink. Nobody looked at or in our bag. And the fact that they only had three detectors at a five gates so lines were pressed into each other.
    I didn’t feel any safer.

  4. “You can still watch the SC team arrive…” or marvel at the original 1930’s mosaic under the center arch, and the Olympic torch, both in a state of complete disrepair…literally falling apart while multitudes of corporate vultures buy advertisements, plastered on almost every surface inside and out of the stadium.

    • I wonder what structural damage will occur once they blast the pressbox out.. Oooops… Rebuild.. I actaully would laugh if that was to happen, especially with Haden involved!
