Former USC QB Todd Marinovich was charged with attempted aggravated trespass of a residence, trespassing, public nudity and possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, today after being found naked in an Irvine backyard in August. Marinovich also faces an infraction of possessing marijuana.
All of the charges are misdemeanors. If Marinovich is convicted, he faces up to three years in jail. Full story here

Despite his defects, I actually like Marinovich and have always wished him well. Considering his dad pushed him way too hard, as bad as things are, it could actually be far worse. In terms of talent, he’s like a raisin in the sun. Godspeed.

I had non-student seats in that end zone. I wasn’t planning on going, but a kid who I coached in basketball’s parents gave me their tickets. So him and I went and my girlfriend at the time. SC had some good teams and great players in the late 80s but just couldn’t get over the hump.
