They say in baseball starting pitching is about a 70% determining factor of the game’s outcome. But now as I look at this mini turnaround of our team with Darnold as the starting QB, I’m realizing it also applies to the importance of QBs in football. Is there any question it’s Darnold that has transformed the offense as well as the whole psyche and morale of the team? Someone would be hallucinating not to see the obvious truth.
The announcers remarked how Darnold does the little things to create time for the receivers to get open. He has saved the season.

Scottie, ur post does not make any sense. Sc has no control who starts for the opposing team. All they can do is try and control what they do. This is a nice win for USC. No one said it was a monumental win for Helton. However, USC can take a lot out of this game such as, they forced turnovers, they sacked az, sc was not sacked, we saw other running backs, Darnold threw 5 td’s and SC’s defense played well. Sc is starting to come together. They have a long way to go, but they are improving
