SC had played 3 straight games vs back up qbs … if CU’s 1st teamer played against SC , Gomer would be long gone by now
SC didn’t put up 110 points against their QBs! Holding 3 straight opponents to points below their season average sounds like good coaching. The whole Gomer thing is getting old, the team is getting better each week.
And Ucla got beat by a overrated team as your fanbase called them before the game. Whats the back up qbs name Egg Waffle ..lol beat it!
And your Cow Poly Mustangs lost the Blue-Green Rivalry Game to the Gauchos! Poor CowPolyFan3.0 is inconsolable now!
So says the trranny rapist!
Poor CowPolyFan3.0 is bitter his team lost the Blue-Green Rivalry Game! Boo hoo!
I hate to not have my fellow Bruin’s back but I’d rather beat three backups than lose to one. I’m so bitter right now at your Manchurian Candidate Polamalu. He killed our run game.
And how would SC match up against Western Michigan or Boise St? Polls are crap!
Because ‘journalists’ like the blogger vote in the AP poll.
That is pretty screwed up.
I mean, ASU got annihilated this month by both CU and USC. I think the 52-6 stain runs pretty deep. It must, or there is no other explanation (outside of pure bias) for woeful ASU, which also has a horrible out of conference set up, to get more votes. The Sun Devils did run off ucla, and probably ruined ucla (no that was STAN) because Rosen was nearly killed. We should thank them for that.
We know those voters were not watching these football games.
If……….beats Cal and knocks off Washington then we deserve to be ranked.
With 3 loses ?
Yeah. They will factor in that we lost to #1 Alabama and Utah on the road.
Such a shame we lost to the Utes. Still can’t believe they closed us off with a 93-yd drive in the final 5 minutes. They certainly earned it, though I never thought the slant pass could be so hard to figure out.
4 fumbles in the first half. Gave the Utes some undeserving life in that game.
Despite the fumbles, the game was still ours. In the end, our D was too crappy to hold ’em when it counted.
The Vols, ALA’s most recent runover, lost 7 fumbles and still beat A&M in College Station.
It will be interesting to see how the Huskies and Jake Browning move on us in Seattle.
Our D was certainly the punchline in the 4th quarter. UW’S defense feasted on Stanford because they stood in the pocket and couldn’t move. Darnold has avoided the pass rush for us and that could tire the Husky’s D.
We were a play away from winning. Fumble. Hey they are playing better .. 4-1 or maybe they steal one in Wa.teams are stretching them to the end. .. Wa could hit a wall. We can hope.. Right ?
We???? You are a Cow Poly alum, CowPolyFan3.0, and your team lost this weekend to UCSB.
We’ll be ranked after a Cal blowout.
We would beat Stanford now with Darnold.
Agreed.
Agreed. Sam would’ve given Stanford’s DEs fits just like Tate gave Gustin fits yesterday.
Yep. That’s what give us a good shot at UW. Sammy boy’s legs and arm.
True, but it’ll take more than that. Mitchell has a torn ACL and is out for the year…
Rogers has to step up. Burnett has to step up. Most of all we need to keep hitting the TE’s.
It’ll be interesting to see what the coaches and other receivers do.
Kershaw is doing it with the ball and bat
Sure is. We need a couple of more runs before I’m comfortable. Seager has to get going.
Yeah, seems kind of like a hitter’s series given the two ballparks. We need to take advantage of Kershaw’s start and steal this one.
Both teams can change this game with one swing of the bat. If we can put up two more than we can keep some pressure on the Cubs while keep Kershaw in the game.
Dodgers win!
Now we have to take care of business at home
We got out of the 5th!
if USC goes unbeaten the rest of the regular season, I believe we should ranked at least in the top 12 if the Huskies record was unblemished. Question: Will the Trojans automatically win the PAC-12 South if we do go unbeaten before the playoff ?
We need a Utah loss. But if we go unbeaten those are really good odds.
The only people that look at USC in a bright light are hopeful’s, and rah rah types. But the reality is, the Trojans ran off a few wins against horrible competition. And overall, the Pac 12 are full of soft finesse, teams .
blah blah?
The AP will credit the cleveland Browns Cody Kessler today im the Browns 28-26 loss to the Titans. Despite a lack of ground game (40 total yards) Cody completes
