  1. Bleacher Report has Juju Smith-Schuster as the #7 pick in the NFL Draft. Has Adoree Jackson at #23

          • Me too. You never know with Adoree since he might want to stick with track. I think Juju won’t pass up the cash.

          • Tough call. How they finish their seasons will most likely have something to do with it also.

          • Adoree’s already won two Pac-12 long jump championships. Does a 3rd straight matter to him in a non-Olympic year?

He’s gone. He won’t help himself with another year as one of the fastest, most accomplished men in the draft. He’s not growing, he’s not getting any faster and he’s started since he was a frosh.

          • No surprise here, but Zach Banner and Chad Wheeler weren’t even in the 2nd round of four mock drafts that were posted on USC247. I can’t believe how much they are over hyped.

      • Would you stay at USC if someone offered you a million dollar a year job your junior year?

        • With the lifestyle these guys want to live that isn’t much, getting the degree would create a nice cushion in 20 years when nobody remembers your name.

    • Ignore the media, because they are the guys e sit next to you at the Barber shop. .lol no difference, just a media platform. Zach Banner is suppose to be the 5th player taken in next years draft , according to espn’s Todd Mc Shay…lol do you want to believe that, too?

      • I actually don’t think Banner or Wheeler get drafted. Maybe a GM/Team will take a flyer on them and sign them as FAs for practice squad depth. Both have skill issues and are lazy!

        • That wouldn’t surprise me, but the media continues to build Banner up. Because he blocked a particular player the other day, and the announcers said that’s why he’s going to be a top draft pick. ..lol There’s still a nfl combined he has to go through, and he’ll be exposed.

        • Tough game tonight bro. Turner getting picked off was big. AGon was safe at home and Utley’s error dropping the double play added on Urias pitch count. Those were momentum builders and it hurt us. After that Chicago’s bats woke up. We’ll get them tomorrow!

          PS.
Utley needs to get on base as a leadoff man. If he’s not hitting he needs to walk. He’s not getting it done at the top. Hope he turns it on ASAP!

      • I don’t believe anything I hear about Banner and Wheeler. How they keep getting praise is a huge thinker?

      • I never thought I’d say this, but Nico Falah has really impressed in his time at Center. He’s opened a lot of holes in the middle and holds blocks. Still has to play Washington, but he has filled in nicely in the middle.

          • UW will be the ultimate season measuring stick. Bama’s on a whole different planet, but we’ll see what we’re really made of in Seattle.

        • In this morning’s Press Enterprise, Kaufman is blathering on about how well the line has played in the last 3 games. They haven’t given up a sack, blah blah . Which allows me to be all Scott Wolf and point out the other teams have trouble catching the new quarterback. One thing is certain we will beat BYE this weekend with that improved line .

          • I’m glad you pointed that out. And I agree. Darnold has made the OLine look good. He avoids any pressure and they’ve been getting the credit. But Falah has been really noticeable in the middle. He doesn’t get called for stupid penalties, he’s holding his blocks long enough for things to happen.

        • Agree with you on Nico, probably the only OL playing consistency well. Interesting that he was the least heralded of the USC OL coming out of high school.

          • I’m glad he’s out there now. He and Kalil Rogers were the only offensive linemen in the 2012 class. Came in as an OT and moved to guard then moved Center. He’s making the best of it. We need him to stay healthy. He’s been a pleasant surprise.

      • Ignore the media? Do you know how many references you make to the media as an authority when you’re trying to validate your canned as* points? Your old comments are chocked full of stuff from the media when it serves you, why are they experts then?

      • You know, I don’t think you have me blocked. UFIB has me blocked, but not you. It’s funny that you say I’m the one that is afraid of the truth. It’s even funnier that you say I’m the one who is susceptible to media hype. I don’t consume sports media at near the level you obviously do. I can show you the posts.

You’re a little doggie that goes around the same little dog run of cliches and mantras and you bark about USC’s inadherence to them. You just try to find different ways to say the same stuff and mostly fail.

        • You’re a little pathetic doggie that chases Fred all day. Imagine the good you could do if you diverted all that rage to a positive purpose working at a charity.

          • Lol…all I see is a message that says ” user is blocked”..lol so whatever the attention seeking , Pervert is saying, I can’t see it…lmao. But it’s good to know he can see my posts .

          • Can’t quite understand why one of us would attack another one of us when we have the ruin trolls to pick on if we need to bully.

          • Well since it’s kinda personal, It could very well be a gutless, facebook friend of mind, that doesn’t have the balls to express his displeasure of my USC post . But nevertheless, I think it’s comical.

          • Omg. You’re hiding from me in a blog comments section and talking about someone not having the balls to express something? Gutless?

          • Why would he encourage your insanity?Fred has better things to do with his life, unlike you, freak rah rah.

          • Fred told me to read his posts so I can get an education. So, I went back and read some of his old posts as he instructed. Now, I simply have some notes I want to go over with the professor. How can I learn at the feet of the master of I can’t ask him questions and review notes with him?

          • There’s no “rage” in me. Rage is your deal, not mine. Fred is yellow. If he believes the things he writes, why is he afraid to defend them?

Everything in college football has changed in the last 30 years, but Fred is still stuck in the land of Dolphin shorts and leg warmers. Is this not a forum for vigorous debate? Why is your friend afraid to debate points with me? I’m not going to hurt him. Why was he so quick to run and hide?

          • Fred, is chicken, but at least he’s smarter than you. I look forward to you taking your own advice with regards to Helen and everyone else that doesn’t share your fatalistic outlook. You’re a curmudgeon.

    • Save this one Sam and prove to the world there is no such thing as an “expert”. Just salesmen.
