USC v. Louisville

louisvilleThe NCAA charged Louisville basketball with four serious violations today . . . but not a lack of institutional control charge, which is considered the most serious and what USC got hit with in the Reggie Bush case. You could say a former basketball staffer hiring escorts and strippers for recruits and players is worse, but the NCAA’s been pretty toothless since the USC sanctions.

  1. Classic Wolf.
You forgot to mention how former Louisville guard Shaqquan Aaron transferred to USC and is now eligible after sitting out last season. Nice job by Andy Enfield and staff for pulling him away from Louisville.

    • Sam, was it you that said the O-line didn’t block as hard for Rojo as they do for JD?

      • I didn’t say as hard, but I said it seemed like they didn’t open many holes. May I ask why?

        • I was just thinking about whatever Rojo’s deal is and I remembered someone here wrote something like that. It can happen where O-lines block harder for one back than they do another. That’s especially true when one back is a senior.

      • Don’t know Rents. But get ready for the big “KABOOOOM” 5-Star Power Forward Billy Preston is gonna be a Trojan. Just wait…

        • You and Andyain’twinning have been claiming that for 9 months.

Even if Preston does sign with bozo u (Which I doubt.) he’s a one and done recruit. So Preston is no help after the 3 veterans leave for the NBA at the end bozo u’s ugly 2016 – 17 season.

          • Roberts is going to blow the NLCS with his lame strategy to upset Lester.

            The game should be 1 – 1.

The Dodger’s just scored and it s/b 2-1.

          • I hear you.

Maeda s/b be moved to long relief/spot starter. He just throws way too many lollipops.

          • Absolutely, I just wonder what the Dodger’s were thinking last off season.

It might be nice if the Dodger’s could pry Greinke from Az at 1/2 his contract total.

          • Rosenthal thinks they will try again this off-season with Greinke. They want Arizona to pay a little since his ERA was so high.

          • There are only a few MLB teams capable of covering G’s contract w/o problems.

Az isn’t one of those teams. With G’s yearly salary off loaded, Az could sign a whole F/A team.

          • 2015, 2014, 2013 etc. Nothing to it. Actually when it comes to BB Sammy, UCLA could care less, win or lose, about bozo u’s cheesy BB program.

          • Andyain’twinning is sub .500 (5 – 9) vs Alford.

Chuck all the mud can Sammy, that’s the bozo u way, but them’s the facts.

            Andyain’twinning/bozo u are BB losers.

          • But bozo u is 3 – 8 (a .375 W/P) vs UCLA since andyain’twinning showed up at bozo u.

Even losers in Las Vegas win occasionally.

          • We’ll see.

I just don’t see how you can say that if you consider Andyain’twinning 2016 -17 team. They’re nothing but freshman, RS freshmen, and Sophomore practice players.

          • Rarely do freshmen step way up in conf. play, especially bozo u’s freshmen. They don’t have enough stamina.

          • Do you remember how freshman Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu played against your Bruins?

          • I do.

I also remember they were one and done in the NCAA tournament.

Tell me Sammy, which would you prefer:

            1) Beat UCLA 3 times in one year or

            2) Lose 3 straight to UCLA but win the NCAA BB NC?

      • I don’t know the Louisville-USC connection.

Why would he mentioned a team from the state of Kentucky on a USC blog?

      • And Blanton is the weakest. 1 Grand Slam on an 0 – 2 count; 1 solo HR following the GS; and now, a 2 run HR.

I guess this is more Biff strategy to rattle Lester.

        • We are nothing without Kershaw Jansen Hill. Our leadoff men Utley and Hernandez aren’t getting on base either.

  2. It has been well established by the NCAA that Reggie getting paid a few months early without USC knowing a thing about it is more egregious than a) Covering up Child Sexual Abuse; b) Paying a Scouting Service $ 10,000 to steer players to you; c) Taking money from an agent and bragging about it on Twitter; and d) lining up Prostitutes for recruits. The corrupt people in charge of the NCAA should be running for President.

    • You can bet the same elites in charge of the NCAA will be a part of the corrupt elites in the next Presidential Admin. But we can all be proud that the first woman is POTUS.

      • Especially with Clinton Family Ethics like this revealed in a new leaked e-mail:

“I signed a conflict of interest policy as a board member of cgi,” Clinton aide Doug Band wrote in a Nov. 17 email to Hillary Campaign Chairman John Podesta, in which he referred to Bill Clinton by his initials, WJC. “…Oddly, wjc does not have to sign such a document even though he is personally paid by 3 cgi sponsors, gets many expensive gifts from them, some that are at home etc.”

He added: “I could add 500 different examples of things like this.”

  3. America is becoming corrupt all over the place. It’s not just politics. That’s why so many people are upset. They feel that there are a small amount of people in every field who get power and then just do whatever they want to do. The rules are for everyone else but not them.
