Another Quote To Remember

Here is USC quarterbacks coach Tyson Helton on Sam Darnold: “We’re able now to use the whole field.”

Now? So why not use Darnold the first three games if that is the case?

  1. OK! We get it–you were right–Darnold should have been the starter all along. Quit being a tool and move on.

    • I’m pretty sure I remember the blogger writing prior to the ‘bama game that all things considered, starting Max was the correct thing to do.

  2. Tyson is doing a good job of staying away from the spotlight so far. Good for him. I wouldn’t be able to recognize him in the line at the bookstore if he was standing next to me.

  3. Well ..LOL .. Josh is out for a tad longer than expected. Maybe Falafel stole Charlie Waffles starting spot… #poorlittlebruinSLOB

    • Rosen is probably faking the injury seeing the punishment that the second qb is taking from the almighty non blocking of ugly’s oline. He is saying to himself, Self, you will not take punishment for a bunch of pansy losers. Why did I sign up for this. Oh, I forgot, Stanford and the rest did not want me, so I had to settle for thug U. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

      • Lol.. And Mora the Chimp went psycho on a reporter asking him ..if he feels he lost the locker room. The blood was boiling! #hesgone

  4. Funny how Rosen has been completely replaced by Darnold as the hotshot QB in town. Rosen probably never dreamed his time in the sun would be over before mid-soph year. I think he can move the hot tub back in his room now. Nobody’s paying any attention.

  5. Ya, and my parents should have bought that house in Palos Verdes back in the 60’s.

  6. *News Flash Bruins*

CBS Sports- “4 of UCLA’S 5 losses have come by a touchdown or less. And the 22-13 loss to Stanford had a larger gap because Solomon Thomas fumble return for a touchdown as time expired”

Translation……….Jim Mora will NEVER get the Bruins “over the hump”

    #NEVERRRRR!!!!

  7. There is something called loyalty and it is important for future recruits and their parents, it was the right decision to give Max his shot.

    • Mike mike. I could not agree more. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE the Trojans coaches made so far this 2016 season was not starting Max Browne for the Friday game at Utah. IMO, Max plays the entire game the Trojans win. Sam Darnold’s Utah stats: Sam Darnold plays all 60 mins. Throws 26 passes, NO TOUCHDOWNS, Troy Williams, Utah’s QB throws 2 Touchdowns with no turnovers. USC’s Sam Darnold 1 turnover and the terrible 82.4 QB rating. Max Browne throws 1 Touchdown pass with no turnovers and the Trojans beat the Utes 34-31. Max Browne then leads his Trojans to 3 consecutive victories over softies ASU, Arizona, and a Max Browne blowout of the Buffs minus the Darnold 3 turnovers, You see, Max Browne could very well be USC’s next Matt Leinart if given a legitiment time to throw. Less than 2 seconds against Bama when hit, 2 seconds against Stanford when body contact is made by the defense. Against USU, pass protection was above average and Browne put 45 points the board. Pass protection has improved remarkably since Stanford the game to average and above average. Not giving Max Browne a common sense chance to show his stuff is grossly unfair to the Browne family. i recon AD Swann gets the blame. Sam Darnold is shining now that he has experience, and should do an excellent job leading the a Trojan offense the rest of the way. I believe the same could be said for redshirt junior Max Browne.

      • With due respect Max Browne is in the wrong offense here at USC. His decision process is too slow and the ball is late. It was Darnold’s first start. He has progressed. Against ASU, Browne was slow with the ball. Darold is faster with decision making. That is called being a better athlete. Besides Darnold threw 5 td’s against U of A
