Nike pretends to observe USC tradition when it arbitrarily puts a cardinal collar on the football jersey like in 1989. But how about some traditional warm-ups like the one worn above in 1977.

Not to nitpick Wolf but warmups don’t go too well with football uniforms. The shoulder pads tend to get in the way.
“Do you have any SC soccer jerseys that look like a blouse?”
Afros need to come back!!!!!!
Oscar Gamble had the greatest afro of all time
Finally something we can agree on
Marques Johnson had a perfectly symmetrical afro.
Ben Wallace in his Piston days could compete for second
Nike would have USC wearing all kinds of clown uni’s like Oregon if someone at USC didn’t put their foot down. The stupid Christmas bulb helmets were bad enough
These all grey and all black crap needs to end … everyone go back to their old uni’s
Did you see their uniforms when they got beat by Colorado? They were Donald Duck looking.
Did you see the uniforms Oregon wore when they played UW? They were navy blue.
They looked like Cal.
Oregon may want start thinking more about football and wins instead of what they are going to wear each week in practice and in the games.
Like Tennessee wearing grey, your colors are freaking orange and white, it’s just stupid
New Uniforms? Millennials like them. As a Generation Xer, I can live with them. So where do you stand, Baby boomer. Can you evolve and roll with the times? Are you stuck in the, “When I was growing up” mode.
Let the freaks and teams that are trying to get 100th of the attention USC gets and let them change their colors like their underwear, just like Thug U
USC should not change one iota in their uniform. Let the wanna bees do that crap
Haden did one good thing ( well he canned Kiffin in a great way ) he didn’t allow Kiffin and Suck to start this stupid uniform crap … Sucks uni’s st Udub were pathetic
As a Whatever Gen you might want to check out the unis of BIG TIME programs like Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Alabama, Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, Auburn, A&M, etc. etc.
Just say “NO!” to the destruction of LEGACY. Let Oregun FAIL on their own.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
F them learn how to tackle and block … instead of this millennial flag football 65 to 60 crap
Ouch! Poor Artie gets destroyed!
ORE was playing for the NC just a couple of years ago. The uniforms aren’t the problem in Eugene.
The Ducks have managed to create a “uniform brand” so to speak. More power to ’em. They never had a strong regular tradition so they helped revolutionize offensive thinking and appealed to recruits who like their gimicky unis. Since 1994, USC is 6-10 against the Ducks. They’ve scored an awful lot of points on us.
Now, the Ducks lack talent overall, especially in the trenches, and have mediocre coaching. Helfrich will be gone at season’s end. But the different-every-week unis are a lasting phenomena. I like ’em. Sometimes they look terrific. Other times…
The problem is in the end the best players are smart and don’t go to a school for their uniforms.
ORE had to fall down eventually. They’ve had a very nice run. If they had the right coaching, they could get right back up there.
It always comes down to coaching. The best coaches bring in the best recruits and form the best teams. If any team is proof of that, it’s USC. Since Carroll, our coaching has been bad and our record is 8-5, 10-2, 7-6, 10-4, 9-4, 8-6. For USC that’s horrible and was only that good because of our great tradition, which has still managed to reel in some great players despite the cluster at the top.
And it isn’t as easy to identify the next great coach as some critics at many schools believe, from Alabama to Notre Dame and Michigan. All great programs that have struggled through periods of bad coaching.
Tradition means something you useless POS
If you don’t like tradition go root for f uuucla. They have none and you’ll fit right in.
Okay, so I read the Bloggers comments. Then I scrolled down and found five “This user is blocked” messages. WOW! I LOVE the block feature. Now if I could just figure out how to apply it to the words that are written above the comments.
How will we ever get over not being able to talk to you?
