GameDay In Seattle

College GameDay is going to be in Seattle for the USC-Washington game. Let’s hope Lee Corso doesn’t bleed picking USC like he did three years ago when the Trojans played Stanford.

  1. Phil Knight is offering $10 million for a new coach for OR. The problem with assuming money buys a great find is that USC is through with all the sanctions and even allowing for an awful 1- 3 start, is back burning up the grid iron. Not sure how we’ll do this coming Saturday against WA but as pretty as Eugene is it is really isolated and unless top talent sees a conveyor belt to the NFL well …..

    • Instead of a coach, Phil should start buying players from Texas’ “Recruiting Services” again

      • Watching OAK vs. DEN – Raiders in the lead at half-time 20 to 10.

Man Kerr is the real deal unlike a certain # 1 pick by the ‘lambs’.

    • Does Saban even make 10 mil a year? And does Oregon want a coach like Saban? 10-0 games don’t seem to be the Oregon model.

      • Allegedly Harbaugh makes the most in college football but Sabin is worth it and more. As to OR their problem is the location – Eugene.

Petersen has turned WA around. OR doesn’t have a history save for the past 7-8 years. Knight either finds a diamond in the rough (unknown gem of a coach) or goes the route of trying to entice a better coach to come to Eugene – not easy and even tougher getting players to play there i.e. USC is still the magnet that pulls all the top talent.

  2. I think the Stat of Corso never picking a USC Result wrong when hosting Gameday (Win or Lose) is still intact.

    • I think it’s every time he picks USC to win he’s 100%. He’s been wrong picking USC to lose before. I could be wrong but that’s what i remember.

I remember laughing when he picked USC to beat Stanford in 2013 knowing that stat.

  3. Lee Corso needs to have a seat, because he’s clearly becoming senile, and espn still allows him on the air. When Texas played Oklahoma, he said Charlie Strong wasn’t the right guy for the job, and some of his players told him they were playing poorly on purpose, to get him fired…lol Really, Lee ? Why do people act like they are an insider, when there not? When you feel the need to makeup a story for some attention, or respect, then it’s time for you to, GO! The top Dogs at espn gave Joe Morgan the boot for the same reason, as did NBC with Brian Williams.

  4. My my my… how USC’s season has taken a turn for the better. College game day showing up to watch the Trojans beat the #4 team in the country.
