  1. You took my advice when I said on a previous blog you need to show the great USC running back running through the ruin’s defense as all did the rb’s from USC routinely do.

  2. If I remember he was never tackled for a loss or no gain.He was like the woody hayes fullbacks …3 yards and a cloud of dust …

      • Back in the 70’s that is how they rotated the rb’s. They started as a full back and then went to tail back after the tail back graduated, the fullback would take his place. They did that with Ricky Bell. He started as a lber, then a full back and then finally tailback. Same thing with Marcus Allen who ran in front of Charlie White.

  3. that was a great game just like 1980 and 1982 … Marcus fumbled too many times in 81 game but D came up big with late pick by Troy West and George Achica blocking that last play FG !
