I can’t say I’ve felt too much excitement (from fans/students) this week. But that’s not unusual in recent years. Remember the buildup in 2010? There wasn’t much. Or even last year? That’s Clay Helton holding the ball after Adoree Jackson gave it to him following his punt return for a touchdown.
At least Utah and Colorado play early, so USC knows what their compeition does beforehand.

Just when you think USC should slaughter ucla, they lose or play a nail biter.
Oh, that message was signed, stamped, delivered and received back in week 1. Losing 52-6 disqualified USC from that discussion. Not to mention the other two losses on top of that. With a little luck, USC can play themselves into the Rose Bowl.

NIce! Cool to see that GameDay crew unanimous that SC is the best team in the Pac12…. 3 losses do nothing to diminish the fact. Again, feels a lot like 2002.
Being the best team in an awful conference is noting to brag about.
Thee are more Pac12 teams in the top 25 than sec teams.
The SEC’s so over-rated this year. Bama’s in their own universe but everyone else is pure mediocre. Even super-talented LSU is on the verge of losing to no-offense UF at home. The future of Ed O depends on the next 3:24.
Big 10 probably the strongest conference this season, overall.
Feels like 2002. Only had two losses but Destroyed UCLA, destroyed Tyrone Willingham and Notre Dame, beat up on Iowa in the Orange Bowl. Feels the same to me.
Hate to say I am pulling for WSU and Oregon today. Then later a big win over the little school by USC will boost them into the conference title game. From there, who knows. Even College Gameday thinks USC is the best team in the PAC12.
I agree, today is huge as far as recruiting goes. USC needs to look strong.
If we win out, we’ll end up in a terrific News Year’s Six bowl against a very dangerous team. After our horrendous start, that’s pretty impressive.
Looking forward to seeing what Darnold produces against ucla today. I’m sure it will be a very hard fought game. Look at how lowly MICH ST is holding close to OHIO ST. These rivalry games really do bring out the unexplainable.

In my opinion it is and Buckeye J.T. Barrett just announced on national TV that that’s how OHIO ST treats it.
Time to flex, Trojans. Just have fun and at the end of the day leave no doubt that this thing we have is real. Make the 2nd half a punitive action and break them in front of their fans and the country. Besides not being able to play for one reason or another, being on defense and getting pounded on long, run heavy drives is as bad and demoralizing as it gets playing football. You have a chance to bring that kind of experience to the bruins’ doorstep, don’t pass it up.
A buddy told me yesterday that Kenechi Udeze stopped recruiting Greg Rogers and now the writings on the wall that he’s going to UCLA. I asked him why? He said that Rogers was getting beat 1on1 against some weak competition and that what the “experts” think the reason is SC cooled off on him.
I was wondering.. He must have another target.
