    • I saw the same smiles on some USC players after the AL beat down in Dallas this past September.

      • I unfortunately saw some of those same smiles/laughs from a couple of Trojan players while I was watching the Stanford game from the sidelines this past September. The focus and killer instinct was not there then. Fortunately we have some kid named Sam Darnold that’s re-energized the entire program.

        • I like Helton but that kind of behavior, laughing etc., comes from no fear of engaging such by the head coach or his assistants. Helton needs to hire strong assistants to counter his ‘cuddly fatherly’ image.

          • Agree. Helton is genuinely a nice guy. I think we see more of that image through his interactions with the media. I’m hopeful that behind closed doors he shows a tougher side of himself.

  1. You know what makes trashing the Ruins extra sweet? Punking all their traitor coaches who used to be at USC 🙂

    • ucla saved Pola who was a HS asst after he had to leave USC after punching the Kiffer in the face. It seems the Kiffer can be very aggravating to people, ya think!

      • Polamalu is a very good guy. He stands up for what is right. He nailed Kiffin because he was drunk at the Georgia tech game, Kiffin deserved it. Would love to have Pola coaching st sc

        • When Polamalu was talking about coaching against SC this week you could tell it was tough on him. I could see he has plenty of Cardinal and Gold in him still.

        • I’m confident he’ll be let go by Mora, so he’ll be free. Not sure if CH will make any changes with the current chemistry we have.

  2. -Power Running Game at its Best-
Chad Wheeler, Zach Banner and Chuma Edoga were all lined up on 3rd and 2 when Ronald Jones broke for a 60 yard TD. That’s three Offensive Tackles in there. That’s how you beat up on people!

          • They could get him while softening the buyout with Ucla with a $ help!

Ucla will give him half to go away..

          • I think if Texas was ever interested in Mora that ship has sailed. I could he wrong but I think they’re first second and third option is Herman

          • Thats what is being reported.. The trustee’s want Herman hired! The chimp is not worthy of going to Texas. ✌

          • I hope Sark does not get picked up until he is sober for a few years, but that still doesn’t guarantee him from falling off the wagon

          • Mora really blew it when he turned down TEXAS, if he really did so. Biggest mistake of his coaching career. I think he would have done well there since he could have played the big dog role.

At ucla, he was sunk because he always had to play second fiddle – even when he had a better team.

          • He got really cocky. He thought that 3 wins over SC meant he owned the city and it backfired on him before he knew what was what. He thought beating USC was all that he had to do as a football coach but he forgot about Stanford, Oregon and Arizona State. My brother told me last night that Mora was a good football coach. I disagreed. I said he may be good. But he’s not good enough to win a Pac 12 title or beat USC anymore.

  3. Beautiful to see Trojans’ football look like the SC of old

With Rams crashing, SC is THE team in Los Angeles

Darnold is crafty and the defense is shifty; whereas SUCLA is just plain sh——-y.

    Love it

I heard that many in Salt Lake City had their U.S. flags flying at half mast after Utah lost out in its bid to win the Pac-12 title. The Utes will probably lose at Colorado, but they have a puncher’s chance to pull it off. And then SC will probably play Washington again, and this time it will be a closer game.

But do I hear SC-Michigan in the Rose Bowl 2017? Oh well, it is probably Colorado, and props do go out to that long down- trodden program.
