Pick The USC-Notre Dame Score

I already made my prediction, now it’s your turn. Is there any way Notre Dame can pull off an upset? If not, can you get the exact score correct?

In the great above photo, USC fullback Clark Holden looks like he has a clear path to the end zone but gets hit at the 1-yard by Oliver Flor and fumbles in the 1958 USC-Notre Dame game. USC recovered but could not score in three more tries. Notre Dame won, 20-13.

I see the hype machine has caught up and caught on to the Trojans now. I’m sorry, but I don’t see a playoff team when you have an O-line that can’t get set and/or get the snap count down 10 games into a season. I’m not seeing a playoff team when I see your best all around player getting burnt every week. Playoff QBs don’t take excessive and needless shots just for the hell of it when the first down is available and his team is in scoring position. Playoff teams also finish drives when they have the chance to break an inferior opponent. To use a boxing metaphor, you had a chance last week to knock an opponent out, but you let it go to the judges. You won a clear decision, but you should’ve dropped the bruins in the last round. If you want a title shot, the people need to see knockouts.

I was looking for that knockout last week that would’ve shown me the team was playoff worthy, but I didn’t get it. Maybe the team and most of its fans think USC is one of the 4 best teams in the country, but I didn’t see that last week and I’m not a believer. Fortunately, the regular season isn’t over and you have a chance to make me and everyone else believers.

ND, more so than ucla, has a talented team. All a team like that needs is the proper motivation and they become a team you won’t recognize as one that has a losing record. Don’t sleep on these guys.

I also resent the fact that these Trojans have me rooting for all kinds of different PAC 12 teams every week. I’ve been a ucla fan, a Colorado fan, a WSU fan, a Cal fan and I’m sure I’m forgetting some teams I’ve had to jump in bed with this year. What’s up with pimping your fans out like that? Anyway, Go Utes!

Who are the top 4 teams in your opinion? At least 3 of them will have unimpressive wins or bad losses. I don’t think the commitee will put SC in the top 4 but the only team thats playing better than them at this point is Alabama.

To speak to the spirit of your question, I think Bama and the Bucks have deeper talent pools than USC and would probably outlast the Trojans in a game. I think we are basically #3 if all teams play clean and to their potential.

More important scores than SC-ND. Washington killing Wasington St., so the Huskies will be in the Pac-12 playoff, and more importantly, will possibly be in the Final-4 after Sat’s games

Next most important score– hopefully Utah over Colorado. If so, SC plays Wash for the Rose Bowl

If Colorado wins, SC still is not out of it. Assuming the victory over Neuter Dame, if Colorado loses to Wash, and Wash ends up in the Final-4 and not the Rose Bowl, SC probably is picked over Colorado based on head-to-head.

Still much to root for in college football. Oh, I would guess Ohio St has to beat Mich for Wash to leapfrog the Wolverines.
