Washington 41, Colorado 10

The Huskies routed the Buffs, which is the result USC wanted as far as going to the Rose Bowl. Maybe it’s time for the Pac-12 to eliminate the divisions and just have the top 2 teams go to the title game. Or better yet, eliminate its awful title game.

  1. Yeah, eliminate our conference title game and just have the two teams with the the best records go at it. Why don’t we make it 4 teams in the conference Championship and make even more WolfyWorld for you. Hey how come you love soccer so much but you look like a weird guy who’s covering FOOTBALL?

  2. No pac 12 south winner has won the Pac 12 championship game since its inception in 2011 . What gives? We have always had the best talent

    • Programs like feeble ucla drag the South down.

Now that USC can sign whomever we want again, the Trojans will bring the South back again as we already proved when USC demolished the Huskies in their own crib.

Everybody knows USC and UW are the best teams in the Pac. Are you just too stupid to grasp this?

      • UCLA will loose a few recruits, as will Oregon. I can see SC upgrading an already strong recruiting class by the way the PAc12 teams are running up right now. UW looks for a certain type of recruit and Oregon and UCLA can’t recruit against sanction or our coaching fiasco anymore. sC will get even more speed. Let the pipelines open, SC is about to dominate recruiting even more so than the last few years. Let’s find some big uglies and feast in the Pac12 teams

  3. This game was a laugher as expected. SC is clearly the most deserving of that Rose Bowl berth now as Colorado will be ranked below us. Rose Bowl, here we come!!!

  4. well, if you could combine Colorado’s defense with Oregon’s offense, then you would have a pretty good team…

    THAT GAME SUCKED

Washington has a good team except for QB – Browning is waaay overated — I don’t at all see why the media thinks he is a good QB

I would have rather seen USC vs Washington for the conf title game – that would have been very competitive

I have a feeling that the rest of the big conf title games are going to suck as well

if it lines up that way, there is no way that Browning is going to do anything good vs the Alabama defense

        • The SC team playing now, as opposed to earlier this season, is not the same team. Alabama is a solid defensive team and would beat SC again, but I do not think it would be a rerun of September. I really believe they quit in their game against Alabama.

          • After losing to Bama and Stanford early on, those beat downs helped SC become a more physical team.
Only Notre Dame would present a similarly physical matchup as those two teams the rest of the way.

          • The best way to beat Bama is to get out front quickly and keep the ball away from them. They do not have the quick score type offense.

        • They likely beat us, but they wouldn’t trounce… I’d say we’d keep it within 10.

  5. SC v OSU in the Rose Bowl. Best Bowl Game of 2017. Will make the playoffs meaningless.

      • Any team team can beat Bama on a given day. OSU is actually nothing special, Bama is. MI is definitely not. Washington is not as good as USC and may not make the final four.

        • I agree that OSU is nothing special and probably too young- but they are one of the only teams that has recruited as well as, or almost as well as, Bama. They, along with SC despite depth and sanctions, have the athletes to compete with Bama.

    • Then again, I remember singing Pour Some Sugar On Me at the Coli when we were ranked #1, and they screwed us (When Hawaii lost a late nighter in the BCS era)

  6. Am I crazy? Can anyone else imagine Max Browne doing as well as Browning has, if he would have had the same stable opportunity and the same system?

  7. UW is going to get mauled, manhandled, and b-slapped by Bama. UW and Michigan are very similar in that they both fattened their records by feasting on home games – the Wolverines’ only road games were at Rutgers (easy win), Iowa (loss), in-state Michigan St. (win, but terrible this year), and Ohio St.(loss). 2 and 2 on the road and having only left the state a total of 3X. What a joke.

Similarly, UW almost lost at lowly Arizona, were lucky at winning at Utah, but got smoked by the Trojans at home. Overrated, overrated, overrated.

I hope the Wolverines come out to Pasadena for another beat down by the Trojans and send Harbaugh running home with his tail between his legs.

    • Arturo, watching UW play Alabama is like watching Illegals wacking away at a Piñata that’s looks like Trump.

      • They’re undocumented. I personally have never seen a Trump pinata and don’t really see the humor in it. I don’t agree and didn’t vote for the President-elect but respect any government official, sir.

  8. December 2, 2016 News Headlines:

“Professor fatally stabbed on USC campus, student arrested.”

And now back to bozo u FB.

  9. It stinks to see two teams battle for the championship that we know are inferior to SC…Argh, those early season losses!

    Rose bowl would be nice.

  10. I figured it actually worse , and this is close to score when they play Bama, though probably worse…I figure there is hand wringing going on trying to justify Colorado in the ‘rose’ SC is still the anathema to ncaa….

  11. Everyone sounds like WA is going to finish in top 4. NOT SO FAST!
There is so much pressure for MI to be in, and if Clemson wins it going to be pretty iffy for WA. If that is the case, WA to RB, USC goes elsewhere. Cotton? Alamo?

  12. Despite the great job that CH has done this year, I still think that in the long run we will regret passing over Petersen. He wasn’t coach of the year twice for nothing.

  13. USC’s only hope of an invitation to the Rose Bowl is if they are rated higher than Colorado by the playoff committee. If the Big 10 elected Michigan and USC was chosen, then we would have a great game.
