That’s just odd.
USC on my mind…

29 days between bowl announcement and bowl game.
2 references thus far to James Franklin by T. Blogger.
Over/under on Franklin references on this blog by T. Blogger up to kickoff in Pasadena is therefore set at 50.
Place your bets.
With the remaining days BK.I see WW only having 15-20 week before game. Then finishing with a mass attack with 30-40 last week.
uh it’s 4 weeks (28 days) from today – just sayin…
If reference means any mention, over.
As a Fan of LA teams you root for the ruins and USC?
Are you sure that is not a tweet from one of the UCLA regulars on this board?
Adoree is not a Heisman finalist.. WOW!
I kind of knew it wasn’t going to happen. He was under the radar well into the final few weeks of the season, while other frontrunners were established much earlier in the season.
Lack of tv and schedule.. He was deserving.. Another NCAA gaff and the Heisman Committee’s ignorance!
Yep! What’s new? lol.
Adoree vs Finalist Peppers: Interceptions 4 to 1 Adoree; Tackles 51 to 66 Peppers; Touchdowns 5 to 4 Adoree; Offensive Yards 101 to 170 Peppers; Sacks 0 to 3 Peppers; Media Hype 100 to 8,215,012 Peppers
How can a school that gave the world “Star Wars” fail in media hype? There was more to it than that. Timing is everything.
Wasn’t this Kiffin’s tweet since last January?
Who else is he going to think about?– Michigan and the 40-point loss to the Wolverines?
He must be vacationing at the Overlook Hotel after his big win over Wisconsin.
Isn’t it closed for the season?
Someone better check old 1920s photos of Penn State.
“You’ve always been the coach. I should know sir. I’ve always been the AD here.”
South Carolina?
This game will be the making of Clay Helton ‘or the raising again of doubts about his skill set. Darnold is the best ‘qb’ in the country and the leading candidate for the Heisman next year – Helton has to craft a basic plan to defeat PA St.
James Franklin is the best coach Helton will or has faced.
I hope you’re being sarcastic but I really can’t tell. Franklin the best coach he will or has faced?
Uhhh… so where do Saban, Petersen, and Shaw rank? I’d even put Willingham above Franklin.
No I’m not – Sabin has an excellent coaching staff and the recruits are incredible. Shaw has maintained what Harbaugh resurrected. They both beat SC w.o. Darnold as to the UT loss well stuff happens
Franklin has raised PA St out of the throes of a horrific scandal. It was a job that no one wanted.
With Darnold at the wheel USC has reeled off 9 straght victories and PA St. has nearly matched that (8 straight) – Helton has the team, again can Helton defeat a team with similar mo jo?
Where do I start? Saban Has 5 Championship with 2 different teams. Before LSU’s 2003 NC their last was 1958, before Alabama’s 2009 NC their last was 1992.
USC has 8 in a row not 9 and PSU has 9 in a row not 8.
Saban is the best coach in college football until somebody proves he’s not. The Alabama team didn’t just happen he built it. Now he has a machine that just keeps grinding out wins. Players leave and he recruits others to take their place. They come because of what he built, he gets the credit.
Maybe you expected USC to defeat AL: I sure didn’t.
PA St. is very similar to USC and that is why this game will be the making of Helton or a red flag of his not learning much since the loss to UT
What did I say that would lead you to believe I expected USC would beat bama? I’ll make myself perfectly clear, You said Franklin is the best coach Helton will or has faced. I said Saben is the best coach in college football so Helton has already faced the best coach he will or has faced. Franklin made so really bad calls in that game. In fact he was out coached for much of it.
Ah gee my bad I thought you did – oh well
Yes, this game will be a huge challenge and test on Helton! We should be able to come away with a very accurate barometer for the future our team under Helton at the end of this game.
