And A Baby Quarterback Update

sills-cactusSo how did David Sills, who committed to USC while in junior high, do at El Camino College this season? He passed for 1,636 yards in 10 games, which is 163.6 yards per game, threw 15 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. El Camino was 4-6. Is Ricky Town waiting in the wings?

      • A kid that to his credit keeps working to make his dream happen. He isn’t bitter blaming the world for his shortcomings. He could have just settled for a dead end job with a local … You get the idea.

  1. I always wonder how much of this junk the blogger would talk if he met Sills face to face. My guess is zero, and he’d skink away. What a loser. Sad.

    • This kid committed the unforgivable act of being offered a scholarship from Kiffin in the 7th grade.

  2. JCs are going downhill fast as D1 football talent suppliers. Has to do with NCAA academic requirements and lost eligibility.

  3. It isn’t that he signed in Jr. High it’s that he signed with Kiffin. This was a slant grenade. And who knows what Kiffin could have done with him if Kiffin was just an OC . Might be rooting for that kid instead of Darnold.

    • He was offered a scholarship, a player cannot sign until the NCAA signing period in Feb. of their senior year unless they are an early graduate. Simply committing to Kiffin was enought to deserve the ridicule of the Blogger.

  4. It is sad the blogger feels he has to continue to beat this horse. Must feel pretty insecure about himself.

  5. Lets pick on the blogger! .. Come on SW, move on.. We ALL challenge YOU to never write, share or discuss former staffers of USC and kids who never played for the program. Show some journalism etiquette and class.!!

    • That’s grounds for getting your comment deleted!! You are unloving, hateful, mean spirited, and a cyber-bully! How dare you call out sw. Lol

  6. Ventura College runs a fantastic JC program, so like I said earlier, Ricky Towns could end up there

  7. Is there anyone else out there that cares what David Sills is doing? Why would a grown man continually call him “baby” quarterback?
    Sounds creepy to me.

  8. Maybe he will end up a decrepit old bitter man some day who makes a living ridiculing young men mercilessly. No, no one would be that big of a jerk right?

  9. Wolf is intellectually so superficial, like most of the media. David Sills threw 1.5 touchdowns a game and his offense averaged 28 points a game, good for him. Unfortunately, ECC’s defense gave up an average of 31 points per game. Hard to have a winning record with a defense like that. Is that Mr. Sills’ fault, hell no. It would be nice if the media could try to be intelligent and inform.

  10. As the great Buzz Lightyear once said: “You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity.”

    As I say: “F U, you’re a POS!”

  11. In real news, Oregon has hired Willie Taggert of U of South Florida as their new football coach. Before USF he was at Western Kentucky, do we know anybody else from there? And he was with Harbaugh at Stanford.

    • Great coach that paid his dues, nothing was handed to him, unlike the two Bozo’s before, Clay Helton

  12. Big bad SW picking on a kid who never lived up to expectations. Enough of the “Baby Quarterback” crap. Stop disrespecting. Especially when these people have no clue you exist and cannot defend themselves to you and your “work” (LOL).

  13. Where is Bucket to defend Wolf with something like this: My hero Scott Wolf has once again shown how the earth is 2/3 water and Scottie covers the rest. Who else would have had the insight to give us the latest news on this wonder kid?

  14. stop ripping on Sills… It was Lame that did the circus….
and there are numerous examples of 5 stars that didn’t make the transition… to college
