  1. Actually he did not finish in the top 11 since there was a tie for the 10th spot. Can’t believe the blogger missed that, he is usually sooo spot on (sarcasm).

  2. I know Carson Palmer is an active NFL player, but why wasn’t Charles White present at the ceremony?

  3. Browning at #6? What a joke. Peppers didn’t deserve top 5 and McCaffrey, Cook and Pumphrey did. The voting for the Heisman is totally out of control and screwy. Not even worth watching the lame ceremony unless you want to see what old winners look like now. Even Manziel showed up, looking sheepish and like the world had already passed him by.

The two-hour 30 for 30 immed following the show was one of the best ever. Catholics vs Convicts is pure sports Americana at its finest. Lou Holtz vs Jimmy Johnson. “Save Jimmy Johnson’s axs for me!”

    • Hey little gutty…How’s the gloomy ucla gridiron club? You gonna watch the Rose Bowl this year while your crappy baby bruins eat crow at home?

Since bruin killer Adoree already won the Thorpe and USC produces Heisman winners regularly, Trojans got bigger fish to fry than wondering if Adoree would win more than one huge award.

You bruins are truly demented. Don’t you ever get sick and tired of getting your head beat in over here?

How’s The Chimp and Show Cause Klemm doin’ in recruiting this year? Anybody want to play for the Westwood Wimps now?

        • Browning was one of the worst QBs I saw all year and both SC and CU made him look pedestrian. Heisman voters must be dotted with lots of Alzheimers patients.

          • He actually had a big-time year. He had over 2.300 all-purpose yds this year and was generally responsible for the STAN turnaround.

          • He barely got his first career road TD this season. Hard to believe. But Stanford’s season was over early. Still think Adoree had at least a top 10 season.

          • McCaffrey scored more TDs (16 – 9 in away games) so far this year (despite missing two games and still has a game to go) than he did as a JR (13). He drilled USC for 172 rushing yds and also caught 66 yds worth of passes. As usual, we couldn’t stop him.

Adoree did very well to win the Thorpe – an award he deserved. Couldn’t care less if he’s a Heisman also-ran.

          • It shows the east coast bias, it also shows how Larry Scott leadership has diminished the Pac12 with his late night scheduling and Thursday night games.

        • Which USC beatdown of UCLA did you enjoy the most?
All of us USC fans have a favorite, which is yours?

        • You really are slow little gutty. I didn’t think Adoree was a legit Heisman candidate and never did. The Thorpe was his deal, which is why he won.

Which USC beatdown of ucla did you enjoy the most? Cat got your tongue baby bruin?

      • Sammy, Jan. 25, 2017 at the empty Galen Barn – can’t wait for that game. It was just like old times at Pauley tonight – sold out crowd and a UCLA victory.

I can’t find Kentucky on bozo u’s BB schedule, must be a typo?

I did see the bozo’s are scheduled in something called the Continental Las Vegas Classic. The tournament is being held at the Orleans Arena, a casino theatre that was previously the home to the Las Vegas Sins, a Pro Women’s FB team.

The Orleans Arena, BB capacity 7,500, is advertising reasonable concession prices, and 500 $.05 slots machines for the bozo u high rollers. While you’re there on the bozo u bandwagon BB trip, you can purchase Orleans Arena “One Love Affair” concert tickets.

Who need’s Strip action Sammy when you’re cranking at the Orleans Arena.

          • Come on Sammy, that’s a load of BS. I’ve never downplayed Andyain’twinning’s 3 straight. It happened. Andyain’twinning needs to win 49 more straight times and he’ll tie John Wooden’s consecutive win streak (52) vs bozo u BB.

Why did 6 players, with eligibility, desert Andyain’twinning’s BB program for better options?

For two bozo Jr’s that option was a pro career with no chance of a NBA draft slot. LOL.

          • Why do you write at a 3rd grade level? Shouldn’t you at least try to write an intelligible sentence?

        • OH boy, college basketball, where UGLY’s two freshman stars Ball and Leaf will turn pro next year. Yay team! How do you get excited over a sport that allows that? And Owns, UCLA is doing great right now in basketball, fine, just fine. But what is it in your personality, or lack of one, that makes you come to this blog to gloat about it? You do have serious problems. Is mama’s basement getting too cold? I don’t like talking crap about anyone who is down and out, but you bring this all on yourself.

  4. I doubt Peppers would’ve cracked the top 10 either if voters didn’t have to consider him as one of the five finalists. It’s always been a QB/RB award unless coaches go out of their way to feature a CB or WR on both sides of the ball and/or on ST.

  5. so,the Louisville loser won???adore can try for next year if it is important…I did not think anyone deserved it this year when comparing to previous like Mtt and Reggie and Carson,or Bama ,or Oklahoma ones

  6. It’s hard to be a serious Heisman candidate when your team scored only two field goals and gave up 52 in their national game. Voters were probably paying attention to the players on the other team. Maybe the punter should have gotten a trophy for that one.
