  1. Why would anyone propose that question? Carroll has it going up in Seattle. He will be in the playoffs once again, and the Rams are light years away from ever qualifying.

  2. That’s a no brainer why would anyone volunteer to coach in this situation? He’s got a nice place to live and good sports writers.

  3. Here comes a poll………….Who would have faster success coaching the Rams, Harbaugh or Carroll?

      • Carroll is 65. Don’t think he would put the needed energy into the Rams who need big help.

        • Harbaugh will not leave M .. He is loved there.. No reason to leave.. It will either be Pete or Gruden, hearing some are not happy in Seattle.. Same staff with a few new faces could bring Pete back..Keep in mind he is a young 65. Package deal with Rocky Seto taking over should Pete retire with the Rams!

          • Harbaugh has more NFL in him than college and a huge competitive streak towards his brother, plus hes a west coast guy with San Diego, Stanford and San Francisco ties that were all successful. Pete would be giving up the biggest home field advantage in all of pro football for the laid back crowd of Los Angeles. He has an established QB, an established defense. Too much to start over with in LA. IMO.

          • Dad and big brothers are huge Raiders fans and when i seen Marcus Allen and Bo Jackson play i was soled.

          • Who was the player on the raiders that was from the university of mars, according to howard cossell.

          • For the record, Raiders fan, but not a big NFL guy. USC rules all for me.
            1. USC
            2. Dodgers
            3. Lakers
            4. Raiders

          • tRaiders.
            1. SC
            2.Mexican National team soccer
            3. Lakers
            4. Doyers

I like your list except tRaiders.

          • I liked them when they played in Anaheim and Eric Dickerson was carving up Ds. It just seems like a lifetime ago. I’m only 43 but remember all to well when both they and the tRaiders left.

          • Maybe that’s is why I love SC so much. They will never leave and represent LA wonderfully with mostly homegrown talent. I even respect UCLA to some extent for having players mostly from LA. I hate the lEast coast.

          • And its why i dont care too much about the NFL. They left LA. But would never jump on the San Diego bandwagon like a lot of others i know.

          • I do agree, I think the most fun is to watch a high school game. They make mistakes. It is true sport, not business.

          • 1. USC
            2. Angels
            3. Rams
I am 67, been an Angel fan my whole life. Used to go to USC and Rams games at Coli.
Even got free tix to Super Bowl 1. I hated the Raiders owner but there were raider players I liked. Stabler, Allen, and Otis Sistrunk (U. of Mars)

          • Nice. Angels need help. I can’t believe they are sticking with Scoscia. They need a new coach. Even Darren Erstad would be a better fit.

          • It is time for a change, but Arte loves Scoscia and I don’t think he would ever fire him. He could move him up into the front office though.

  4. Maybe if the inevitable Tsunami wipes out the Pacific Northwest when the Seahawks are on an East Coast Trip……..

  5. Not a Rams fan. But now is the perfect opportunity to go and get Jim Harbaugh. Do it now. Right now. Or you will just be “the Rams”

  6. Pete Carroll is about to become considerably wealthier. The Rams will offer him a ton of money–and make him the highest paid coach in the league. The Seahawks will then match that offer, and Pete not only gets an even bigger payday but then also will be even more beloved by the Seahawks fans (if possible).

It’s a shame the Rams didn’t jump on Del Rio last year–he’s working wonders for the Raiders.

Chip Kelly will be available (yes that’s a joke). And I don’t think the Rams settle for Mora. If they wanted underachieving mediocrity they would have stuck with Fisher. They need someone who will build this team into a legit playoff team time they move into the new facility. I suspect they go after a big name like a Gruden or even try to talk Cowher out of retirement. This needs to make a splash.

  7. The Rams are a dumpster fire. Until they move into the new stadium and get rid of Les Snead, they will remain a dumpster fire.
