  1. Wow and still he was voted an All American. That must really chaff you behind huh Scott? Zack Banner All American, has a ring to it.

  2. Tackles are more prone to penalties than guards due to a) being further from the center snap for false starts and b) outside pass rush for holding.

    • They seemed to get better as the season went on but they really hurt some drives in those early games.

    • Also they are more exposed to the officials, being on the outside. Interior lineman get lost in the scrum.

    • Zach Banner was a work in progress having to deal with how many different OL coaches, some of them real stiffs. I don’t think that was what any USC lineman signed up for. Give Zach & the others some credit.

  3. As a blocker Banner was pretty good. But he stalled a lot of drives. He had a better season and even showed maturity behind the scenes as a leader.
3 of Talamaivao’s 5 penalties were in one game at Washington.

  4. Like there was anyone on here that didn’t know Banner was the flag king of the O line. We agonized over each and every one of them Wolf. CFB Film Room? WTF is that about, trying to sound credible now? Sorry, too late.

  5. Anyone see Jimbo Fisher now has a raise to 5.75 mil per year with a 44 mil buyout to fire him. SWEEEET deal for sure.

  6. Wolfie, a Brow Beating Machine, how about 2, possibly as many as 20, stats that compliment our Rose Bowl bound USC Trojan Football Dynamos ?

  7. Incredible! an outside offensive lineman had more penalties than in interior lineman? Incredible insight Wolf. Perhaps it might have been that he was on the outside where the officials had a clearer view of him and, I don’t know, he is bigger than a mountain and you can’t miss him…

Wolf- the team is in the Rose Bowl. Can we discuss that?
