He stuck it out at SC. Max Browne has my utmost respect. I hope he succeeds at Pitt.

Good luck to Max. He seems to be a high character guy. Unfortunate he did not have the success at SC he hoped for. But he competed with integrity and handled all that came his way with maturity.
If Pitts line is bad it won’t matter, he can’t move and his arm is average.

Round hole, square peg affect, Max was just not the right piece.. He has skills but not for the system Tyson and Tee put in place at USC.. Pitt is a great landing spot, New OC will figure out what he has in Max and build an offense around him to make him successful.. And on a side note, Matt Corral class of 2018- is the real deal, HUUUUUGE ARM.. Moving forward after Darnold, Sears to Corral .. USC looks good.. Fink may need to look elsewhere.
I was in L.A few months ago and went to go see Oaks Christian vs La Habra. Corral reminds me of Aaron Rodgers. Moves well in the pocket. Leads his receivers very well..

True, but it’s still very nice being the QB magnet school nowadays. We’ve easily got more QBs in the League than any other school and that’s pretty cool.
We can’t seem to land the fantastic RB anymore, only good ones, but I’d rather have Darnold than a great RB any day. PSU had the great RB in Barkley and you saw what happened there.
But only one of these QB’s is any good, and we all know it’s Carson Palmer

He’s a fantastic RB who ran through USC like no one since McCaffrey. Another guy who was under-rated by recruiting services. He wasn’t even a top 15 RB. If you can believe it, 247’s #2 RB that year was bruin flunky Soso Jamabo. Scary inaccuracy.

Why would Max want to burn bridges at SC, unlike Kiff, Sark and Coach O?– He was here for 4 years, probably was a big man on campus, had a lot of friends and acquaintances, and good lifetime contacts are what Trojans look for at SC.
Max will return at some point to SC and get his Masters in Communication.. True Trojan with class!
