Lane Kiffin Record Falls

Fired by the Oakland Raiders (Oct. 1, 2008): Kiffin was fired by then-Raiders owner Al Davis, who called Kiffin a “flat-out liar” and cited the “propaganda” and lying” that had been going on for “weeks and months and a year and time.” Kiffin was four games into his second season with the Raiders when he was fired.

New Rams coach Sean McVay is only 30 years old and becomes the youngest coach in NFL history. The previous youngest coach was Lane Kiffin, who was 31 when the Raiders hired him.

  1. Wolf has now gone 8 blog posts without even the slightest mention that Helton’s decision not to start Darnold earlier cost USC untold riches and glory.
    This is unacceptable.
Without Wolf’s tedious reminders, I fear I might stop dwelling on this unchangeable history and begin looking ahead to recruiting, next season, etc.
    Woe is me.

  2. It could have said “SEAN MCVAY SETS NEW RECORD”, but not Wolf. Had to get his daily Kiffen in.

  3. Man what a detailed search made here! Yeah there’s a guy with ‘real’ muscle to force Kroenke, the Ram pres. and GM to make ‘real’ change – not.

Same old pathetic Rams and always will be.

  4. Wilcox is in contract negotiations with Cal to be the new HC. NOT a done deal yet though.
