  1. Flow is loving this. Nothing makes him more jovial than to see USC lose in any fashion. Especially when it’s Enfield. Did he ban you from practices also?

Gonna be an uphill battle for this team.

    • Right? Please tell me it’s not just the absence of Boatwright. Either way, they have look lost the last couple games.

      • I missed the game. I woulf imagine its partly because Boatwright. We need more experience inside with Metu. We just have to find ways to win games without him. Thats 3 of 5 now.

    • Maybe you could flip Martin Andrus from UCLA!!?? Did you see that 320lb DL hurdling over a fence with ease on his commitment video?? All the usc boards were calling him a solid commit to southern cal! Who goofed? I’ve got to know.

According to sources, he burned all the southern cal gear he received during his visit… Not looking good… Gomer Helton can’t relate to African American boys from the hood!

      #howdoyoumissonakidwhoplay3milesawayfromyou?

      • Nah, we would take Darnay Holmes but his dad already brainwashed him. So we must move on.

        • Excuses, excuses, excuses. Sammy. It’s possible Holmes father wanted his son to receive a real University education, not some Toejam family BS.

          • That would not be a rarity. Parents can be the worst and that is pretty much a universal. And SAS…it’s time to let it go. You aren’t going to get every player. Even John Wooden lost one player to SC, Paul Westphal.

          • Hopefully he will be happy at UCLA and do well. We need a turnaround.

            Time to enjoy basketball.

          • Truthfully, in my opinion, Mora has worn out his welcome. It is time to get a good coach. I hate to say this, but Chip Kelly would be an improvement.

          • I’m sure Kelly would be an improvement but UCLA would never pay that buyout and I have no idea if Kelly would come. The new OC might be a better HC than Mora. It’s all a crapshoot. After 4 weeks plenty of Trojans were ready to can Helton. 3 months later he’s a hero with a Heisman-caliber QB. Strange things happen.

As much as I like UCLA football and basketball, and talking sports in general, there are other things more important. Watching Mississippi State in basketball, I wonder if SC didn’t make a mistake in not hiring Howland.

          • I have talked to Steve Levin at the usc games while he announces for the PAC 12 network. Nice guy and he said he would coach at sc. I liked him at ucla. He was good there. Now, I don’t know about basketball like I do about football, but it seemed Lavin was a good coach

          • Steve Lavin is a nice guy that should never have been a coach at UCLA. Maybe think Paul Hackett. Ben Howland was a good coach that took UCLA to 3 consecutive Final Fours with terrific defense. He seemingly alienated some SoCal high school and AAU coaches but he can coach. He requires tough minded kids willing to play D for his style.

          • Squatter, then he should have definitely gone to USC. Studying Gender Identification as a major from ugly, can’t even get you a pizza delivery job.

      • I have one name, Hunter Echols. He is African American and his mother and father live near Vermont and south of the 105 freeway. Now what genius?

        • I guess I should take it all back…. He certainly got you… I’m sure you live north of washington in pasadena and we all know that that’s the hood of pasadena!

          • Actually, the hood like u call it is west of Lake street off of Fair Oaks and Woodbury genius, or are you talking about the hood on Villa?

          • Ted, have u been by the Nickerson Gardens project, Jordon projojects, Grape Street? Let me know. I have

          • Why were you there? Were you dropping off bags of money on southern cal’s behalf?

P.S. Just because you eat at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffle doesn’t mean you know the hoods…

          • How do you know what I know about the hoods? Trust me on this, I am very aware and have been and seen more than you know, the reason is, I worked in those areas for many years

  2. Cal loss I did not expect but Utah is usually a strong team, and Colorado like Cal I calculate a win; when will SC BE A FULL STRENGTH? STARTING 5 PRETTY CRITICAL WITH LAST YEARS DUMBASS DEPARTURES…WHAT ARE THOSE HOTSHOTS DOING?

  3. That game was unwatchable. At about the 10 minute mark the writing was on the wall, and I turned it off.

Now, across town they really have a basketball team this year. With Alford in his rightful position he is showing what a marksman he is.

I won’t be going to the SC-SUCLA basketball games. Although the SUCLA kids seem cool, I don’t wish to see the likes of Drains, FedupTed and JustFrowns crowing into the night like a cheaper version of Donald Trump.

    • You mean a cheaper version of Obama and Biden, who are so egotistical they give each other medals.

  4. Teams are finally realizing if you don’t let SC get out in transition they’re going to struggle to score in the half court. They don’t have anyone that can score down low and they have a bunch of guys willing to settle for contested jumpers. On top of that SC is not a good defensive team so when their shots aren’t falling they’re typically going to get beat handily.

  5. Streak shooting, no rebounding, turnovers, no physicality, lousy defense, sandbagging non-conference schedule. This team will finish in the bottom half of the conference. The return of Beanstalk Boatwright may add 1 victory to the losing outcome. That said, this has been the USC basketball I’ve observed – with rare interruption – for more than a half a century. Lesson Learned: If you truly want a winning men’s basketball program, then you have to shell out BIG bucks for a reputable coach.
