About two weeks ago, I cautioned about comparisons between this USC basketball team and the 1971 edition, which went 24-2 and was ranked No. 2 in the AP Top 25 poll. After last night’s loss to Utah, USC is 2-3 in the Pac-12 after five games.
And here’s the real stat: USC coach Andy Enfield is 0-7 overall against Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak.
5 star DTackle Aubrey Solomon is on campus today – PLEASE get something reasonable to share !!!
Unless Aubrey makes a stop at Five Guys, it will be difficult for the Blogger to collect intel.
Hahaha this made me cough up my coffee – thanks Helen
That’s not the only thing Helen will make you cough up
I wouldn’t go here, Fly Boy.
He’s going to Bama, what’s to report, how many co-eds he bangs ?
Sure, if you have some stats on that, share them! – that would be better than hearing about how SC basketball has failed in the eyes of the wolf, and hear him pat himself on the back about it
They have failed thanks to the coach scheduling cupcakes all pre season. You don’t get tough playing weak teams
Is that UCLA’s recipe for success on the football field? When is that bruin revolution beginning?
Looks great on paper though.
Fan boys overlook cream puff schedules, that’s why they are shocked when reality kicks in .
And then they get made at the blogger, which is hilarious, like it’s his fault Endfield schedules teams with no pulse.
Young team still has talent.. The injury to Boat didn’t help.
Talent, yes. They have one similar flaw to UCLA, defense or lack thereof. However, Bruin defense is improving and probably the best offense in the land. Coach Andy needs to teach some D.
Yep.. Exactly..
This is Scottie’s FAVEorite time of year – one of SC’s teams is on a losing streak. Like steak & lobster for the blogger….
Okay Wolfie, I give in. You’ve convinced me. SC isn’t one of the top teams in the country.
Hey Wolf, is C.J. Spiller on campus this weekend? And do you expect him to commit anytime soon?
Talk about beating a dead horse, what a hypocrite
Save it Spaulding. Go cry with the other Bruin trolls.
Is Bryce Dixon back? Ask the Dr. Rachel Maddow of Inside USC.
Hey Helton, what’s taking you and your staff so long to offer this kid ?
Austin Faoliu
He’s garbage just like you loose lips.. Take a hike.. Trailer Park Champ!
Really ? Oklahoma doesn’t think so neither does Oregon, you lying POS. Cal Poly ? FSU ? Stanford ? Still making big deal’s with Magic ? How are those race horses doing ? Apparently Tosh isn’t at Nebraska yet, eh liar ?
Im worth 4 times more than you big mouth!.. Sorry but nice try, nice to have people put fake accounts pretending to be me.. Horses are fine tho.. Breeders Cup bound.. Winning is big only when you have monies.. Enjoy your sad pathetic life, trailer trash boy! You ignorant sorry POS!
USC is average and will lose to Colorado.
4-8 is better ?
Andy’s seat is getting hotter by the week. He should have had this team turned around by this season. If they tank, Swanny gets his first big hire. Will Boatwright make that big of a difference?
Yes. Boatwright is a difference maker!
You are as brain dead as the rest of the rah rah’s that troll this blog
According to you, but my stock portfolio and bank accounts say otherwise!
Now go play with your little truck and your small peas!
got any stock tips?!
He’s a joke!
Bunky, I will be surprised if the Boat Wreck plays this year. By the time BW is anywhere really to go, the bozo’s will be so far out of NCAA Tournament contention, that BW would be stupid to risk more injury for a penny ante NIT invitation to save Andyain’twinning’s cheesy, bozo u career.
If the BW wants a pro career, he needs to be injury free. Besides, there’s a reason 6 players from last year’s team bailed on Andyain’twinning.
I understand what you’re saying, but BB is a team player. He’ll start practice next week. You should see him when Btech comes over on 1/25/17. BB is a difference maker. You know he can make it rain 3’s!
Boatwright is another streaky outside shooter with precious little presence under the boards.
Same old attitudes from Sept…basketball at SC has always been decent to good teams and a few real winners…those losers who left early last year and Boatwright injury hurt the team quite a bit,but they still won against some very decent teams;a consistent starting 5 and a 6th off the bench are always critical…nobody who knew the teams in the 50’s ,60’s and 70’s confused this team ,just because of the start…although it was a good start.I still think when all hands are on deck they will finish in top 1/2 of Pac12.I think if all stay and don’t leave early next year will be what this year could have been. Add the ones that left early to this team. What do you see?
Wolf, I’m pretty sure YOU were the only one comparing 1971 with this USC team…but if you ask me, no, it never felt like 1971 with this team, like 99.999999% of your readers, I never compared the 2..
I’m sure he’ll claim a reader emailed him a question comparing USC to the 1971 team.
It does not – sad to say – it truly does not but we Fight On!
This team reminds me of the team that won all the pre-season games and then got blown out during Pac8 play… 75-76.. 1-12 in reg season play…
Andy Enfield couldn’t shine Bob Boyd’s shoes.
#lol.. .
Basketball season is here SoCal. Time to go into hibernation.
Good night, now!
The only thing ’71 has in common with ’17 is that they are reversed numbers.
The upcoming losses to UCLA, Arizona and Colorado will be by large margins. From this time forward we will be lucky to win 5 more games. Boatwright, Schmoatwright….He won’t matter against good teams.
