Adoree Jackson To The NFL

Cornerback Adoree Jackson announced he would skip his senior year and enter the NFL draft. Jackson waited until the final day to make his announcement but the decision is not a surprise. Now who will be the dynamic punt/kick returner next season? Who will provide solid-if-not-always spectacular cornerback play? Jack Jones? Jonathan Lockett? There is no quick fix.

  1. Stupid move, he’ll be broken in half by game 7, not ready physically for the NFL in any way

    • really , he gets paid now … he, like Darnold should get the the coaching staff’s pay checks for saving their dumb arses.
Ajax could be broke in half like #28 was by that ND saftey and not get paid … go get paid to get broken in half.

    • Stupid comment. nickell robey was much smaller and he is having a decent career in Buffalo. Fight On Adoree. Thanks for you contribution and your Trojan Family will always support you.

      • Exactly. But he doesn’t know who Nickell Robey is. He’ll need Wikipedia.

      • I’ll be proven right, like always. Now you can remove your lips from Adoree’s behind

      • Hey 96, sign up at Hubris Hall for write a friendly letters to Toejam felons currently serving hard bop time.

Ninety- six if you’re smart, you can be first in line to write Osa’s his first “Good Luck’ in the pen letter.

It must be truly exciting to be a bozo u Rah-Rah.

  2. That only took an hour…wow. SW must have figured out “CTRL C” and “CTRL V”.

Fight On Adoree…you are one of the all-time greats at USC.

  3. Good for Adoree, he was a loyal trojan. If he goes in first or second round he made the right decision

  4. Thanks for everything!

Glad Adoree played his ball with us. Everyone who knew of Adoree Jackson in High School said he would only be in college for three years. He didn’t disappoint and he lived up to all the expectations. I heard Adoree was very much torn between staying and going and i also heard his father was urging him to move on. Either way we were lucky to have had him at all. He’s one of the best I’ve ever seen up close. Just glad he came to USC to share his talents with the Trojans!

    Fight On #2!!!

  5. Wish him success, should be an exciting kick returner and extra receiver. Don’t see him as an NFL corner or safety or starting WR. Who does SC have with his speed coming back, don’t think there is anyone?

  6. Fight On, Adoree – you’re the consummate Trojan – love your fighting spirit and your always classy attitude with the press, your fans, your teammates’ families. The best of success in your life’s endeavors.

  7. Thought he was staying LOL …some of you are just clueless

Good decision Ajax and good luck , play offense btw

  8. Adoree is a class act all the way and played with full effort every time he was on the field. There was not much more exciting than watching him blow through a crease and head for the end zone on a kick off or punt return. His return against Notre Dame where he hurdled the kicker without breaking stride was one of the more athletic plays I’ve ever seen. What I’ll remember most about him is how he never quit and gave it his all whenever he was on the field. He was also displayed awesome sportsmanship, always helping up and showing respect to players on the other team.

He will go down as one of the best athletes to ever play at USC. If he would’ve come back for his senior year he could have gone down as THE best athlete ever, but I really think with him getting hurt for the first time in the Rose Bowl, that he could not risk any more injury without getting paid.

I really think he has the athleticism to succeed in the NFL, and don’t think his size will be as much of a detriment as others on this blog. He will blow it up at the combine in drills and interviews.

    • Getting hurt on that stupid slick field spooked him. He would have shined next year with Sam.

      • Kind of like Hillary had she been elected.

Unfortunately, Mr Jackson has NFL flop stamped on his forehead.

        • Not like Hillary. We already saw what a disaster she was as First Enabler of the Rapist-President and her negligence as Secretary of State resulting in the death of four brave Americans in Benghazi and her post- attack cover up.Hillary has flop stamped on her forehead.

          • 22, it’s customary to put verbatim Fox TV broadcast drivel in quotes.

I don’t want the blog bozo rah-rah’s thinking you scream and whine your own thoughts.

          • Hey Bruin Rob, when Bormeester’s kick split the uprights winning the Rose Bowl for the Trojans, did you punch your tv? It must really piss you off that Bormeester’s dad kicked at UCLA, but the on had to go to USC to play in a Rose Bowl.

          • 4-8 in ’16…3-9 in 17’…2-10 in ’18…1-11 in ’19…0-12 in ’20 and beyond. What a f’g team! LMFAO!

      • Hate to see him go, but this might be a blessing in disguise for Sam. With Adoree, he would have split his Heisman votes in the same team next season.

  9. Thank you,Thank you . Adorre’s 3 years took us out of the trials of sanction and coaching nightmares,to the time when we see light. His last year with his Trojan teammates is one that added to the lore of History.I will always root for your greatest success football and beyond.
    Thank you Adorre

  10. Happy trails to you, until we meet again.

    Some trails are happy ones,

    Others are blue.

It’s the way you ride the trail that counts,

Here’s a happy one for you.

    ~Dale Evans

A.J. – It was a pleasure to see you run and play!

God’s protection and Blessings to you and yours…

  11. Adoree is one of those very few that can thrill you every time they get the ball. What fun it has been, and of course he will be missed by all of us.
There may not be another dynamic returner, our defensive backs may not be the quick fix either. This is what college football is, changes come every season, players leave, new ones come in. Strategies change with the players available. We will not duplicate 2016, but 2017 will be great in other ways, the banner will be carried by new players. That is college football, and USC carries the biggest banner of all.

  12. Adoree will be remembered as a Trojan hero in every sense of the word – great athlete, great character, great competitor. Sad to see such a great player and ambassador for USC leave, but we wish his all the best – a long, prosperous and healthy career in the NFL.

Thank you, Adoree, for giving us everything you had, entertaining us so much, and for just representing the Trojan family so well.

    Fight on, Adoree!

  13. What was a better play this year, ‘out of bounds-one foot in’, interception or the hurdle against ND? Any plays stand out more during his career. Fight on

    • Adoree was the most valuable bozo loser in the Alabama game.

NFL coaches will evaluate Adoree in games like Alabama, Santford or Utah – i.e. what did Adoree do in a loss, not what he did in a cupcake win.

  14. What a shock!

Can’t wait for the first youtube NFL video of Adoree knocked into the next week.

    • $500.00? What is that, one months pay at the Cerritos McDonald’s? Face it Bruin Rob, you don’t have enough money to pay attention.

  15. I hate to be cynical about the timing but it seems waiting for the last minute to make the announcement probably was timed to sell more season tickets.
I wish him the best of luck, knowing he will make the best of his experience.

  16. Sad to see him go. I completely understand why athletes do it. Best of luck to him at the next level!

  17. If the NFL team that drafts him brings him along slowly, then he will be a great cornerback in three years.

  18. The last part of SW’s question….
Clay Helton has no choice but to recruit defensive players this time around and lots of them. The depth & talent level on the defensive side is scary weak. Helton needs to put blinders on his head and stop chasing after more offensive skill in place of badly needed defenders. He had just enough on the defense this season to win 10-games with the help of Darnold. Now he will has less on the defensive side. Push comes to shove Clay Helton….
