Tony Wallace, a three-star “athlete” from Las Vegas, visited USC this weekend despite being committed to Arizona. Today, Wallace announced he would stick with Arizona. At least he got one day of decent weather on his recruiting trip.

He is free advertising now for the program. Not useless or a waste at all
FLOW RIDER .. Do you live in cave? Its raining .. Lol . .. At least he will now know how it should have been playing for a ROSE BOWL TEAM vs a Arizona team that wins only 3 games a year ..
Surprising lack of trolls on board today. Guess the thumping at Poly has something to do with it. Helton is closing on easy top 5 class.
Should we be disappointed or happy because he’s just another 3 star? Who can get too invested in the choice of a 17 year old? I’ll wait until February 1st to judge.
Now Tony can always say he took a trip to the school that’s won 25 Rose Bows and chose the one that’s never even played in the game.
Good for ARIZ. They have been getting ravaged in recruiting lately and Rich Rod is on his last legs. Tony won’t be playing for RR for more than a year if he doesn’t shape up in Tucson. Of course at ARIZ, that means win 6 games.
I had a post deleted–suspect it was use of a banned word. I do not begrudge this kid for taking an extra visit or two. Let him take advantage of the system while he can. Once he signs his NLI the system owns him. And it will chew him up & spit him out without a second thought.
Celebrate, celebrate! USC avoids another three-star and nobody, especially Birdcage, had the remotest idea where he would fit in position-wise at USC. Hip, hip, hooray! Thank God not everyone who visits commits to USC.
Wallace was asked to “greyshirt.” Shockingly, the man “inside USC” didn’t know that…
Are you sure Birdcage knows what a greyshirt is?
A 17 year old taking a free trip, getting to see great facilities and be treated like a king. How surprising.
Isn’t that a contradiction? Can you really be in the “Athlete” category as a 3-star? If so, do they ever become relevant? I can’t remember the last time a 3-star ATH became a relevant starter at USC. Heck, I can’t even remember the last 3-star ATH that got a scholarship at USC.
In a matter of time,
There’ll be a friend of mine
Gonna come to the coast,
You’re gonna see him
Up close for a minute or two
While the ground cracks under you.
By the look in your eyes
You’d think that it was a surprise
But you seem to forget
Something somebody said
About the bubbles in the sea
And an ocean full of trees.
And you now, L.A.
Uptight,
city in the smog,
city in the smog.
Don’t you wish that
you could be here too?
Don’t you wish that
you could be here too?
Well, it’s hard to believe
So you get up to leave
And you laugh at the door
That you heard it all before
Oh it’s so good to know
That it’s all just a show for you.
But when the suppers are planned
And the freeways are crammed
And the mountains erupt
And the valley is sucked
Into cracks in the earth
Will I finally be heard by you.
L.A.
Uptight,
city in the smog,
city in the smog.
Don’t you wish that
you could be here too?
