USC was outscored 12-1 to end the game and held on for the victory before 2,931 at the Galen Center. Elijah Stewart scored 29 points, including 7 shots from 3-point range, to lead the Trojans. Next up: UCLA on Wednesday.
UPDATED: Andy Enfield said after the game forward Bennie Boatwright (knee) will not play against UCLA but should be back the following week against the Washington schools.
Felt like an ugly win. Seems that it’s always 2 more weeks till Bennie’s back. Will it be before the Pac-12 tourney?
Who won ? USC!
They were both laying not to lose two in a row – USC will be ready when they go cross town to play bel-air tech Wednesday
I hope you’re right. I really do.
The game is at Galen
We continue to donate points to our opponents, for every big three point bucket or much needed two we allow too many immediate points. I’m happy for the win, we’re still very young and learning but how come we cannot imbound a pass and break through the press???
Let’s take this and chalk it up as a meaningful conference victory and have a good week of practice.✌
And, how can we miss three dunks in a row? Beat the Bruins!
MUST STAY FOCUSED AND PLAY SC BALL!!
Not gonna lie. Not crazy about the demeanor of this team. Will reserve the final assessment after Boatwright’s return, though.
Im with you
Whew! Too close at the end there.
Yes sir, an Az St. 12 – 1 run.
I think Andyain’twinning needs a haircut.
0-3. LMAO!
Sure was!!!
I’m wondering Sammy, if Doc Tibone is treating B B B B Bennie with his patent Tibone Cocktail.
I’m thinking the same people who advised Armstead to do Tibone Cocktails, advised Browne he’d get his shot if he stuck it out, is now advising B B B B Bennie to to risk further injury in the 9 remaining (excluding UCLA) bozo u Pac-12 scheduled games – including Oregon and Az and UCLA
I guess B B B B Bennie missed the Max Browne Toejam Family kiss off. If B B B B Bennie gets hurt again can he count on you Sammy to throw him a Bone.
No wonder SUCLA can’t win anything meaningful. Look at the quality of its fan. LOL!
It seems to me that both Alford and Enfield do not feel the need to stress defense because their teams will always outscore the opponent. Didn’t we see the same thing with Sark?
