USC Morning Buzz: The List Of Potential Starters Keeps Changing

Let’s say the investigation of kicker Matt Boermeester (39 above) for a conduct violation continues at least into spring practice next month. That means USC would be without seven potential starters who could have been on the roster but left for various reasons: Boermeester, E.J. Price, Noah Jefferson, Osa Masina, JuJu Smith-Schhuster, Adoree Jackson and Damien Mama.

  1. Due to layoffs and generally bad wages and poor morale, the Los Angeles Daily News is publishing without 90 starters …

  2. Was Don Hill ever gonna crack the starting lineup? He could be tossed in there also, right?

  3. Thank goodness for Ryan Abraham, Dan Weber and Gerard Martinez. You have to pay, but you you get the latest USC information. It’s at USCFootball.Com

  4. Let’s not blow this out of proportion. Boermeester’s situation is an eye opener. We just have to continue as if he’s off the team. But we all expected three years ago on signing day that Juju Smith and Adoree Jackson would be gone after their junior years. Two great athlete’s but not a surprise. Mama, is the only surprise and we’ll be fine without him if you ask me.
Noah Jefferson, Osa Masina, and EJ Price were not part of last years team so i don’t know why they are being brought. Jefferson played one game and Masina and Price didn’t play any.

If you are making a list list of could, woulda, shoulda then they’re all accounted for. But most of them aren’t as significant as one might believe.
