Steve Sarkisian Still Has Unfinished Business With USC

Steve Sarkisian might be focused on being the Atlanta Falcons’ offensive coordinator, but his arbitration hearing with USC is scheduled for July. Arbitration could help keep some messy details about Sarkisian out of the public eye, which helps the former USC coach. I doubt the Falcons want their fans hearing whatever details USC might have about Sarkisian’s off-field behavior.

  1. Dark needs to apologize for his behavior and drop his lawsuit. If not, let USC bring the hammer down on him

  2. Sark isn’t owed one damn penny by USC. The fact that the school has “the goods” on that putz should be exploited to give us valuable leverage. Money to that shuck could be used, instead, toward a scholarship for a deserving student. Come on USC, show some guts and stand up for what’s right.

  3. When USC players “noticed” that Sark was drunk during the game @ ASU it should only work in the favor of USC. Sark needs to take this as a loss and move on. Have some respect for the people that believed in you that you let down and walk away.

    • Unfortunately Pat Haden didn’t notice that Sark was drunk as a skunk in Seattle and hired him over interim head coach Ed Orgeron. All of this mess could have been avoided with a competent and ethical Athletic Director running things. Thanks goodness we have Lynn Swann restoring order now.

  4. The fact that he filed a lawsuit against USC tells me he has not admitted alcoholism . His actions tell me he’s still in denial, and has extremely low character. Actions always speak louder then words, and Steve Sarkisian is the slime ball, that most people think he is .

    • Correct – if he is in a 12-step program, then an integral part is asking for forgiveness and rendering apologies to all you have wronged. Is he in a 12-step program?

  5. USC business school needs to use the example of how a supervisor (AD) should address an underling manager’s unsatifactory actions (HC). Business is business and Max Nickias needs to take this course and share his notes with Lynn Swann. If Haden hadn’t muffed up the firing, Sark wouldn’t have a leg to stand on in his suit. Just another example of why hiring a qualified-experienced person for the job is too important.
