Morning Buzz: It’s Game Day For USC-UCLA Basketball

USC goes for its fifth straight victory over UCLA tonight. That would be the longest winning streak since USC beat UCLA 42 straight times from 1932-43. But more importantly, here is a color photo from a USC-UCLA game in 1967 at the Sports Arena. The game went to overtime, where UCLA won, 40-35. And yes, that is UCLA center Lew Alcindor (later Kareem Abdul-Jabbar).

    • Don’t know, but it’s not as important as UCLA winning, a NCAA record, 52 consecutive rivalry BB games.

      • Better yet squatter, did you home get awashed away in the floods where your home is located in the Santa Ana River? Also squatter, isn’t that a photo of a profesisonal basketball player (Alcindor) playing againsgt amateurs? Johnny “Cheetin'” Woodend and Alcindor know.

  1. I am going to the swimming pool, Polly Povillion tonight. I am going to watch USC curb stomp the Thug U ruins once again. Just like football, water polo, baseball, track, and basketball. USC owns U Clowns Lose Again.

  2. Wolf, do you notice a large drop in hits on here. It is because your posts are so bad, nobody wants to let this crap go on. Become a USC journalist again or hang it up.

    • I thought the # of posts was down. I attributed it to end of FB & stricter screening of comments.
