Sam Darnold is not at the NFL Combine and can’t attend until next year, if he chooses. But NFL Network Daniel Jeremiah says Darnold is the talk of the combine. And this is why when people keep asking if Clay Helton is a good coach, I always answer that Sam Darnold is a great QB.
Text from NFL exec– biggest talk at Combine, and it’s not close–USC QB is rare. (It’s tough to ignore him when you’re studying other guys)

Scooter,
By now you have seen what Coach Helton is doing with the program. He has brought back discipline, accountability, respect, and normality to the program. He has recruited well. Games plans are productive. He represents USC very well. Now Scooter, what have you done to earn the respect of being a good reporter or is the Daily News that good?
Maybe Scott can go pro someday and work for the Times
The Times did not even invite him to this years Reporters Combine.
This just in…………
Josh Rosen played in 5 games last year.
Well, he played in 6, but Jimbo was a little flustered by then.
The Bruin Radio Station Fox570 was ripping Jimbo all day for that statement.
WW, name 3 people in College Football profession that care what you think…..
As for Sam Darnold,he’s a franchise type player. Personally I’d like it more if hype stayed quite both for Darnold and USC.We know the season we potentially have.Let’s keep hype down.
Helton is systematically doing whats needed to bring USC back to Dominance.
Wolfy will never give the coaching staff credit. Doing so breaks his man-crush in James Franklin (who apparently doesn’t believe any of his former players can commit sexual assault).
Fake News!
Trump has left the building
I would venture to say that Helton will be around longer than you will Wolf. Not that you matter, nobody notices when you are around now.
Then why wasn’t Browne a great QB? He had the same coaches.
