The Omnipresent Will Ferrell Will Be USC’s Commencement Speaker

It should be news when Will Ferrell isn’t at USC. The actor seems to always be hanging around USC, so I’m sure he was an easy choice for school president Max Nikias to select as the graduation speaker in May. I make Ferrell a darkhorse candidate to become the next athletic director. That should be in about 4-5 more bad movies.

  1. A comedian is the perfect commencement speaker for the quality and academic weight of the paper they are handing out.

    • Frank the Tank!!!!!
      I wanna party with yooooouu!!!

Also, i can’t stand these windy days. They suck for me!

      • Will Ferrell isn’t speaking at the graduation. It will be Ron Burgundy. In 2018 it will be Ricky Bobby. Nikias could milk this for awhile.

    • Go check the US News and World Reports National University Rankings, for a few years now, USC runs LA.

      • Yup and watch the continued decline in the in-state public universities (Cal and bel-air tech) as they are forced to continue financing the left-eco-femi-&rui)op)an-racebased departments. They are collectively one major earthquake away from financial implosion

        • US News and World Reports is a defunct magazine that does popularity (and not academic ratings) of schools and refrigerators. No academic ratings have SoCal above UC Davis, let alone UCLA.
          Wake up, pinheads.

        • California leads in Public University ranking Berkeley and Ugly are ranked in the top #24 while the only other Public University in the top 25 is Virginia.

          • That’s exactly my point – the ‘pc’ agenda that champions perversion, race politics and junk science require the same minimum staffing that credible programs do (chemistry, business, biology, geology) – if a major natural catastrophe hits California decisions will have to be made as to who gets what financing from the state’s coffers.

  2. Scott seems to not understand people who had a good time at SC and are happy to go back. If I had to do it again, I’d do it in a heartbeat. I’m not a huge Will Ferrell fan – he took his ridiculing of W a bit too seriously for my taste – but when it comes to SC we are simpaticos. Fight On, Will.

  3. I’m guessing Will Farrell could wipe with the equivalent of the blogger’s paycheck and not even bat an eye.
