No E.J. Price On Roster

USC has finally put together its spring roster and offensive tackle E.J. Price is not on it. He is still enrolled in school but expected to transfer after the semester ends. Meanwhile, Arizona is going to seek immediate eligibility for defensive tackle Noah Jefferson.

  1. Old news… Price decided he was homesick in September of 2016. My guess is “It happens”

    • If he’s homesick, then why did he stay another semester? Looks to me like he had to shore up his grades to be eligible.

    • It’s easier to play for a SEC team when you don’t have to take class so serious.

  2. There are others that report on the team daily, who aren’t quite sure E.J is transferring..A spot remains open. We’re at 83,McKenzie in fall is 84.Kicker gone.

    • Is Boermeester officially kicked off the team for the incident with the ex-girlfriend?

      • He’s not on spring roster. As far as officially kicked off,I don’t believe so.With the personal nature of his situation its pending outcome of incident investigation.
        I don’t believe he’s expected back.

  3. Who needs them. Neither one of those guys seem to be serious about football. They remind me a lot of Joshua Smith, the former UCLA basketball center who was supposed to have great talent but he didn’t even like the game. He hated practice. He never developed. He finally quit the team. SC needs players who really want to commit themselves to SC football, not these two guys who can’t figure out what they want. If I were Helton, I wouldn’t even let Price back on the team unless he convinced me that he really wants to go out there and compete. The rumor that I heard was that he didn’t really quit, they actually asked him to leave.
