  1. Early start 12:10 pm PDT tomorrow St. Patrick’s Day from Tulsa, OK for the Trojans. The real rub is for bel-air tech — almost a 7 o’clock PM PDT tip off tomorrow evening from Sacto…….

    • That’s perfect timing, SoCal can dump the game and be drinking green beer by 4 PM!

      • Duuuude…….I just realized that 1995 was a long time ago. Wow…..Yep. Long time ago. I like how you keep sending shots our way yet UCLA has two first round picks and are praying to get to the sweet 16.
The pressures all on you. It’s so on you. Choke job on the way.

          • 88, when I attended USC from 1965 to 1969 only the first place team in the PAC-8 Conference could attend “March Madness”. Only 16 Teams were invited to the Tournament. Coach Johnny Wooden and UCLA had a set up through the 70’s, having to defeat two pathetic western USA schools to make the Final 4. All of Wooden;s NCAA BB Championships are as tainted as H@ll. And 1995 is much too far back to make for good reading. 88 Straight, occasional, you post on SW’s Blog and make sense, but your comment above is nothing more than Troll garbage, Senator Schumer’s Crap. Disappointing !!!

          • I remember. I was at the Sports Arena when Westphal’s crew gave it away down the stretch. Westphal was the one recruit that Wooden wanted but didn’t get.

Sam Barry had some great teams that never got over the hump but that was before my time. Barry and Boyd were excellent coaches.

  2. Looks like the coaches got to the SMU players, because they were Politically Correct in their observations. Of course, it is all malarky, because they don’t believe SC is a great team, and they believe they are going to beat SC easily.

Now, if SC can play like they did in the second half yesterday, then I say it could be a ballgame.

Vegas has it as a 6 1/2 point spread, so it is not lottery odds for the Trojans to pull it out.

    • Dude, you got this!
      You already beat these bozos.
Make the Conference of Champions proud.

  3. Hey Scott how come no blog for the conviction of the former LASD head and USC alum – Lee Baca who got convicted yesterday on three felonies – obstruction of justice for starters….let’s see 1993 PhD from the ‘School of policy, Planning and Development.’

    Dr. Baca I presume?

    • Alvin, Thanks for bringing that up.
I had no idea ol’ Lee was a SoCal Alum.
      Makes sense.
Did they get him for “Lack of Institutional Control” or was it just lying?
